Jonboy Posted September 23, 2013 Report Share Posted September 23, 2013 I'm still waiting for the Two Tone Crew to give us a transcript of their podcast. I've not listened to any of them. Not because I'm not interested, but because I don't really have the free time to sit and listen for an hour. I would much prefer to read it at my leisure. But alas, no transcripts. Anyway, after being discouraged by Locker's play the last 2 weeks, it's evident that his best work is done when he is mobile. We need more of yesterday's version of Locker going forward and we might just be alright at QB. If there's anyone on here willing to do it, we'd be happy to include it. Says 3-4 defenses to start the year are keeping him in the pocket more on likely advice from OC due to speed of LBs... but he did very well getting outside pocket. So it was even bad through the satellite service? Interesting. Streaming through the computer/iPad/iPhone app has been pretty bad 2 out of the first 3 weeks of the season. I had the thing where I could watch on my computer in 2010 and it was absolutely awful. So bad that I didn't renew in 2011. Luckily I live somewhere now where I can get DirectTV. And for the most part it's been pretty good. But there's still too much pausing. And it's almost random when it happens because my brother was over watching the game in a different room and it wasn't pausing for him at all. Jamalisms Posted September 23, 2013 Report Share Posted September 23, 2013 O'Donnell was asked by Wycheck when it's fair to start expecting Jake to look safeties off with his eyes and the response (as far as momory serves) was that they've mostly been throwing safe throws like curls and hitches with Jake. This week you saw some more vertical passes mixed in. When you start getting more vertical and having success and Jake gets comfortable with that... that's when you can expect him to do it more. He also said he really wants to see Jake checking it down to CJ in space more. Said Jake doesn't do it much and should be looking for that. Wycheck responded that CJ has to get out quicker.
