i wonder about that daily. i bought an SLI graphics card set-up with 2 rx580s, a water-cooled 8700k, decent motherboard, excess RAM, and plenty of other cooling with like 900 watts of power... and my system was massively underperforming. the rx580's were used and were the most popular card for mining for a long time. granted, i'm new to PCs but it just wasnt hitting the benchmarks for a long time. i had to wipe and reset my graphics cards before they got to normal. i still come home to some weird occurrences when i turn on my monitor but the benchmarks are where they should be. I have heard of many cases where typical respected software companies have an update and someone added a malware miner. how easy would it be to have an update, let it mine for a couple of weeks or month across a few million computers, then say "oops! somebody did a bad thing and we fired them" when really they just made about 1000 ETH in that time frame? i know phones are set up differently and more secure, but i also wonder if its not possible to have miners on mobile devices. should a decent antivirus and windows defender be able to find that stuff?

Actually there has been a ton of mint made. Guys have been pumping and dumping and buying back in cheap.. then repeating the process 2-3 times a day. Many many are making killings in their coin alliance groups. The fact its its still unregulated allows people to get together and manipulate the price. Stamina too. Bears have been known to run for miles at near sprint. Gorillas haven't been seen to run longer than 30-40 yards at a time. stamina probably wouldnt even matter though... Gorillas and humans peak around 25 MPH. Grizzlys hit around 37MPH.... give that gorilla a 10 yard head start and he's caught 20 yards later before he even gets tired.

Not only that, the gorilla would run away. He’d posture for a while and act tough but he’d get the fuck out when the bear came after him / didn’t back down. .. if the bear even lets him leave. The bear may catch up and kill it for being in its territory.

FWIW, I do think If there was a 10ft Gorilla and a 10 Ft Grizzly locked in cage that the gorilla would win. but that would never happen... because in that world of 10 ft gorillas then the bears would be 20 ft
