Daboll was my choice after McDaniel signed with LA. From the existing pool he was easily the best OC with the most experience. AND he loves Cam. The right man for the job. Way to go Borgo!

Well said. I agree with all of it. Smith had Tannehill, Henry and Brown the good year he had here. There are better options to develop Ward. At this point I’m really selfishly hoping Daboll doesn’t get the Buffalo HC job.

yes. Daboll is a good offensive minded coach. it would be a good move in my opinion. Yes I wanted MM, but the Chargers have a much more established offense and is a known commodity. Probably a much better situation than with a second year QB and newly hired HC. I don't blame him a bit. Truthfully I wouldn't mind Nagy either. Both are very experienced.

It more about withdrawing from a HC position. One less hurdle.
