Does anyone think that McDermot becoming available has changed any of the Titans focus?

Some players need to be motivated and some don't. Motivation can be in many forms. Some guys respond to an ass chewing. As shitty as the Jets were, maybe they needed it. I take it with a grain of salt without more context as to what exactly he was talking about.

Unbelievable. The guy won twice as many games as he lost and won 8 playoff games. He got screwed by the refs on that bad call and then lost his job. It's a cruel business.

There's no proof. It's all fan based anxiety due to the fact that Nagy's resume doesn't excite anyone and the assumption that Borgonzi is hiring his buddy. Due diligence shouldn't prevent you from going hard after the guy you believe is "the one."

There's an overriding feeling that Callahan was viewed as a "hasty" hire and they aren't going to make that mistake again. Hopefully they don't wait too long or "their guy" could be snatched up by another team (as in Harbaugh) In the end, it's still a big roll of the dice.

Apparently, he's scheduled to interview today. He was given a 5% chance of landing the job before Harbaugh was announced as going to the Giants and Daboll shot up to 24% after the announcement.

I read an article this morning that said Daboll was odds on favorite. I was like....WTF?

I'd trust Saleh as a DC but not to develop Cam Ward. I don't particularly like McCarthy, but he may not be a bad choice all things considered, and he does hire good coordinators

A "leader of men" and a brilliant mind generally aren't synonymous. If you can get both of them at the same, you've struck gold. MM just doesn't exude that confidence to me. You have to know what buttons to push and when to push them to be a good motivator. Maybe I'm too old school but that's how I feel.

I believe it's a watershed moment for the franchise going forward and a chance to escape the dysfunctional tag we carry. I believe we have the right GM, a potential franchise QB and the third piece being a long term HC who is picked by the GM. With a new stadium and a ton of cap space things are going to be looking up.
