I was about to post this. Jones hasn't stood out in the 6 games I've watched. seems like an okay middle tier guy but not something to build around, especially since he wants a long term deal.

Carthon is likely looking like the next Warner or Greenlaw.

So 2 months ago they traded a 5th for Jones and a conditional 6th. Now they turn around and get another LB and a 4th for Jones? I assumed Jones was in the long term plans when they traded for him but guess not.

One of the few times we agree. The issue wasn't trying to find Tannehill's successor. it was failing miserably at doing so. I said it at the time but too many believe all QBs can play to 40 because a few of the greats did it. Tannehill was busted up his last few years and had clearly declined physically. He was never going to be a guy who played into his late 30s.

Doubtful on boyd. He's a Cally guy and is here to help others learn the offense. Burks has no value, Diggs probably doesn't either. If the jags are asking for a 4th for Walker, what is SJD's market? next to zero chance that can get what Simmons and Landry would be worth imo.

Perspective on the market rate for a Simmons or Landry

realistically what pieces can they really sell off? Hopkins is the main one and with the current offense, thats not a big loss. Are they really going to jettison Simmons or a Landry type player? doubtful. We are talking about guys like Hopkins and Diggs for the most part.
