McCoy is on staff and could be interim or OC. That's what we would do. After which I would hire an experienced head like Mike McCarthy.

Hasn't he always had issues with drops? Maybe just who he is.

Sweepstakes on McCoy being interim HC by the bye week. For real though we have a chance against this Rams team if our defense can play with the same effectiveness. Latham injury is a huge concern though.

Press conference today will be interesting to see how he rows back some of his nonsense comments yesterday. Hopefully doesn't look like he's just cried this time.

I expect us to lose by a couple of scores today, but happy to be proven wrong. Main thing is we protect Ward and build his confidence up. It's gonna be a long season and progress, not playoffs, is the realistic goal.

Probably could've got him with our second 4th. Hoping we pull excellent value with that pick now.

Terrible value

Borgonzi said WR and RB were to two most deep positions left in the draft so I think we might be waiting a bit longer for a pick at those positions.

Be funny when Will Howard gets drafted ahead of Shadeur and Kiper has another aneurysm.

Most of the value at DL has gone at this point. Can be a next year priority. This roster is a multi year project.

I also really like Jack Sawyer if we're thinking about double dipping at EDGE. Wasn't he a 5-star recruit?

The value for him is fine there on talent but you can find those types of RBs later or even UDFA imo (remember Blount). Royals is higher for me, I'd even choose Gonnar Helm the TE over him.

Looking at the big board Royals makes most sense if we stick and pick (and maybe we get Shadeur with the other 4th rounder hehehe)

People crying about not drafting a WR are dumb. Femi was a reach in Rd 2 but Winston was a steal in Rd 3 (if you flip those picks the value is perfect in my eyes, so it's a wash). None of the receivers we missed out on in Day 2 are immediate game changers for us imo. You might argue Luther Burden but I don't think he's what we're missing. There's a few extremely WR heavy teams now after FA and draft and there will be good options on waivers for our WR3.

Wouldn't shock me if we traded up in the 3rd.

Reach. High upside. I don't mind it given it's EDGE. Other positions i'd be less happy.

Have we all forgotten the shit decade where we couldn’t find a decent QB let alone someone ‘good’? Lamar would instantly elevate this team to a contender with prime years still ahead. Break the bank. Or nah let’s just do the draft crapshoot again for another decade of misery.
