I think the chance the Cards trade that pic are near 100%. Which means it is also near 100% there is no Bailey or Reese there for us.

there's a non-zero chance but I agree it's not gonna happen. Either way it's nice to actually be excited about our draft pic. First time in a while. I mean Cam was great but there was zero drama there.

That was CTF, and it was a decade or more ago. He called my office, and my secretary buzzed me and said "it's some guy who says he is from a Titans message board" and I was like what the fuck? He was also the one that couldn't let it go and was just beyond belief that I would post a shirtless picture (or I don't even tthink I was fully shirtless) from my office. Nevermind we have a gym in our office and it was hilarious and I don't give a fuck. It was all in response to the pic he took trying to show off his wealth and awesomeness and I said what a fatass he looked like. But he just kept going on and on for days and weeks about the audacity of me posting a pic like that. Or maybe it was someone else. Either way I was like what is it about my pic that has you all hot and bothered. For the record, I got even more ripped over the years after that pic. But now I'm remarried and I still look good but the abs are long gone. Come to think of it, it was definitely CTF who was the stalker and definitely him who inspired the gym pic due to his fatness, but I think it was someone else who just kept bringing it up. He's probably changed his name and is ashamed of being gay. Ah the good old days.

Maybe. I guess stranger things have happened and he could beat out Trubisky for #2. Either way, the longer we can hold onto him the more potential value, IMO, that he will have. That being said, for a 6th or better he's sold American.

That's where I am on Styles. I don't want to see any of the plays I saw with a top 4 pick at MLB. Much less multiple ones. I watched features from two games this week and saw at least three in the heralded Indiana game, and more than that in the Washington game, that really looked concerning. No opinion on Reese and Downs.

That's what I'm thinking. And to have our new coaches put him through some drills so they can envision how he fits in their scheme and preferences.

He has all the makings of a potential bust. That said, I'm with you I don't know enough about him to know about his celing, but plenty of people think he is uber talented that know more than me. But when you look at the profile of a classic bust (other than QB) this guy has the ingredients. I trust our leadership, so I'll be super positive and supportive whichever way they go.

It drives me crazy how we've been talking about the top 4 or 5 picks. They are generally almost universally agreed to be Mendoza, the two edge guys Love Styles, and the OT with the bad back. Almost everyone has 4 of those 6 guys in their top 4 picks. But then when you see lists of the "best" players in this draft, or the most likely to be studs, or whatever measurable you want to use, the list changes. You still have Mendoza, and Love, but then people talk about Downs and other guys. So my question is why the disconnect, esp when it comes to the Titans? It's like people believe you have to take a certain guy because he is the guy that everyone says should be taken. What if we think Reese and Styles are too big a question mark, and think the Georgia OT or Downs is the best player available at 4? Why wouldn't we just pick one of them, regardless of whether Reese is available?

True but I don't want to get it twisted - other than the stupid dangerous plays, Dart is 10 times the QB Locker ever was.

Dart is a totally different kind of QB and dart put himself in danger as much as anything else from what I remember.
