This is why i cant stand Goodell. He'll do anything for the league to make more money, thats his job, but the product will eventually suffer. Adding two games are not what the fans want, adding a european team is not what the fans want, neither is moving the draft into May, fans want big bits, they are getting rid of those, I think the guy is clueless in what the fans want.

The Jags are a horrible franchise and the Britts wouldnt go to watch a joke of a team every sunday neither would us Americans. And moving the Jags or any team for that matter outside the US will lose fans in the states. If Goodell wants to move Jacksonville move them to LA, change the name, colors, build a huge stadium etc and that would be a start.

I think fans in London would disagree that do not want a european team.  Adding a team in London wouldn't be for fans in TN.

I really think if they want to do Euopean teams, then they need to start a league there and then have them play in the playoffs.  The travel, number of teams, and geography just really interfere with a global league.

It's not ever good business for the NFL to say, "Screw that we're never going there...they suck." They get asked this stuff and it doesn't matter where it is they're going to say, "Oh yes we love that market yada yada yada"....

It's been happening in Canada for 40 years or longer. Mexico over the last 10-15. If a reporter asks Goodell about putting a team in Damascus he'll say that sounds like a dandy good idea.

Next will be Mexico City - Oilers were quite popular down there, and if Bud is still kicking, I'm sure he he will inquire.

Mexican Titans - CJ has run to through the border like speed

Yep, I can see it now

Goodell needs to worry about growing the sport here in America.

LA still doesn't have a team yet.

Largest TV market in America, and no team. smh

The league will suffer if a team moves to the UK.

They need a expansion team in England, not a existing team.

Honestly, I think the NFL has reached it's peak for this cycle in sports.  Baseball is rebounding, and it offers more games, cheaper tickets, and the young talent is amazing.  I think sports in America tend to go through phases of popularity, with numerous reasons for a decline or ascension.  The NFL and football are getting to a point where the immense popularity will suffer due to further research on TBIs, rising costs of tickets/apparel, and the league overextending in ways such as more games, overseas teams, and increasingly restrictive rules.
