chef
Except for the part where you said "Locker is naturally inaccurate and can't improve" and where you called Ayers a bust before he played a snap and gave him a D+ draft grade. Perhaps our scouts should just ask TF which college players suck so they know who to look at.
japan
The Brown pick was a waste. It should be Ayers and McCarthy in the Nickel moving forward. You can't have enough good, fast LBs in my opinion. Guy do get injured.
oldschool
Not even close. Pre KB #53 the Titans were able to play base in many nickel situations because they had three stud LBs that could cover and play the run. Ayers and McCarthy are coming into their own in their 2 year. If Brown improves agianst the run and can cover one of the TEs and the safety gets the other this D will improve. If you think the titans are going to keep 3 lbs on the field with the way the game is played now you are crazy.

headhunter
We can with Ayers or brown as blitzers
oldschool
The team and many others do use a 3-3-5 @ times. There is no doubt that formation is becoming more popular but the 4-2-5 is still the most common in passing situations.

The Titans were in this formation when Ayers got his sack, he was just standing up instead of having his hand on the ground.

Ughh he was not playing DE. They ended using a 3-3-5 about 8 times, give or take a few, from what I remember seeing and Ayers blitzed on some and played coverage on others. If he lines up near the LoS that does not make it a 4-2-5.
headhunter
You also gotta give Ayers props in his hands usage in rushing the passer. Milliard really tought him some moves. Ayers could only bullrush last year.

Ayers could only bullrush last year. On his sack he pretty much used all speed, never even got touched He does a blitz where he hits the LG where he's driven the guard into the backfield 2 or 3 times this season
headhunter
I know that this game but when he blitzes he has more moves is all I'm trying to point out.

I'll have to watch it again but I could have sworn they had a 4 man DL on that play and Ayers lined up outside the DE.
OILERMAN
I'll have to watch it again but I could have sworn they had a 4 man DL on that play and Ayers lined up outside the DE. I went back and watched it. There are 3 DL and Ayers on the LOS, Morgan is lined up at DT, between the guard and OT. Ayers is lined up next to Morgan the same distance from the line as the rest of the DL. The only difference is he is standing up. Witherspoon does come down like he's blitzing but drops back into coverage, it makes it look like 4 DL and Ayers.
Jonboy
The game should've ended w/ Ayers recovering what should've been a fumble. Yes sir. That was probably my single biggest missed call from the refs. Game should have absolutely been over right there.
