BTiger3733
There are typically a few guys that rise to blue-chip/top 5 level prospects throughout the season and pre-draft. Hopefully the same will be true this year. 2025: Abdul Carter, Cam Ward 2024: Jayden Daniels, Nabers 2023: Witherspoon, Anthony Richardson 2022: Aidan Hutchinson, Travon Walker, Sauce Gardner

AussieTitanFan08
So good to have Brugler and Helman back together doing a weekly podcast. One of the biggest disappointments of last draft season was when Brugler and Tice stopped doing their podcast when Tice left the Athletic.

OnsideKick
Dane Brugler's 2026 NFL Draft summer positional rankings: Quarterbacks ____________ #Vanderbilt TE Eli Stowers is a rare blend of size, speed and bounce -- a HS state champion in the high jump turned All-SEC tight end in 2024. He'll be a strong contender for TE1 in the 2026 #NFLDraft. The former QB has had stops at Texas A&M and New Mexico State, where he made the transition in 2023. At 6'4 240, Stowers led the Commodores in receptions this past season with 49. His athleticism makes him a mismatch nightmare in the passing game, where he ranks as the 2nd highest returning receiving tight end, with 2024 grades just below 1st round picks Tyler Warren and Colston Loveland (per @PFF). With uncanny explosiveness for his size, Stowers is one of the most electric prospects in the entire country. ️ ___________ Cashius Howell, EDGE/OLB, Texas A&M Remember the name. You won’t find his name on many preseason watchlists. Waited his turn behind Scourton and Stewart. Turn on the USC tape. Explosive, natural pass rusher, effective spin move. Huge breakout candidate. OnsideKick
#SMU's Isaiah Nwokobia is a unique fusion of instincts, physicality and versatility that earned him First Team A. The 6'1 193 pound safety has 26 career starts under his belt, and is muscular, above‑average‑sized safety whose twitchy burst and downhill trigger make him a versatile hybrid defender. After a 2024 season that included 100+ tackles, 3 INTs and 6 PBUs, Nwokobia was in line for a @ShrineBowl invite before opting to return to school at @SMUFB. Now, he ranks as PFF's 2nd highest graded returning safety in the country. Edited August 21, 2025 by OnsideKick
OnsideKick
NFL Draft 2026 rankings: Arch Manning, Caleb Downs in top 5 of Dane Brugler’s initial board ___________ 2026 NFL Draft preseason big board: Arch Manning included in ranking of top 50 prospects, but he's not No. 1 ___________ The Clemson defensive line is one of the best you're going to see in a long time. Peter Woods might be the best player in the class. T.J. Parker is a Round 1 guy--maybe early Round 1. And Demonte Capehart can ball. Oh, and they added Will Heldt who could also be a Round 1 edge. __________ Let me also praise the LSU defense. Patrick Payton should bounce back in a new scheme. Harold Perkins and Whit Weeks are game-wreckers all over the box. AJ Haulcy is a very talented safety. And the CB duo of Mansoor Delane and Ashton Stamps is one of the nation's best.
