I live in New England. All my buddies are Pats fans. Brutal day here.

Anyways, we know that Callahan will be fired after Vrabel and the Pats come to TN next season and lay the belt to their ass.

100% chance NE leaves Nashville with a win next season and the next day bye-bye Callahan, lol.  I mean, how else could it possibly go?

Vrabel is a good players coach and it’s certainly possible that he learned something from his first stint as a head coach.

But his stubbornness and conservative ways got him fired and if he doesn’t change then the Pats will eventually fire him, too.

His stubborn and conservative ways were copied by the Titans current head coach in an even more indefensible way

One is lauded as an offensive and QB guru

No, Callahan just didn’t have a QB. No guru can win with Levis.

The whole argument is you make it harder on your bad QB by running (unsuccessfully) on first down all the time. It was even more egregiously bad with Callahan

He’s not really wrong though. Vrabel won when he had a decent roster and a good QB and lost when he didn’t. That makes him like most competent HCs

The Titans roster was totally gutted by 22-23

Vrabel is a flooor raiser but with a HC like him you either need an elite QB or for the HC to be elite at identifying replacements for your OC constantly as they get hired away

Tannehill fell off and Vrabel failed after Arthur Smith. He has to be better at identifying play callers and a massive part of them is letting them work and not interfering too much

Have you listened to him? He's been up Vrabel's ass for years. Everything good the Titans did since 2019 is due to Vrabel. Everything bad is someone else's fault.

It will be interesting to see if Vrabel learned from his first go around as a HC. Odds are he is too hard headed to grow as a HC
