Maybe “multi-year” was like 2 years hah.

Or maybe this report is off, but I’m intrigued.

The quote was details undisclosed but that he would be coach of the Titans for "years to come"; woud be extremely unusual if it wasn't at least for 3 years.

Didn’t they sign both Vrabel and Robinson to significant extensions after 2021?

The length was undisclosed.

Vrabel originally signed in 2018 for 5 years.  That would have expired at the end of the 2022 season.  He got his undisclosed length extension in Feb. of 2022 with a year to go.  AAS this.....

Published February 8, 2022

Tennessee announced on Tuesday that head coach Mike Vrabel and General Manager Jon Robinson have each reached agreements on contract extensions with the club.

The lengths of the new deals were not disclosed. Both men were previously under contract through 2022.

I am proud to say that Jon and Mike will be leading our football team for years to come,” Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk said in a statement.

Technically, if he got a 1 year extension for 2023, then both AAS and Lombardi could be correct.

Hopefully someone who is in the know clarifies Lombardi’s report one way or the other.

Can you imagine how much fun I am going to have this offseason if there are all new position coaches to speculate about along with a top pick and 90 million in cap space?
