I could see the pick in an alternate universe where JRob actually nailed that last few drafts and this team is loaded with talent. In that universe if last year were derailed by injury you could afford to take a luxury pick on a high risk high reward QB who needs development time. That's the KC/SF model that I think is ideal. I don't think this roster is there though so ideally you trade down to get more picks if possible.

Yep. This has been my line of thinking the entire time. It would be different if the well wasn't so dry on offense. The OL is still completely in Flux, we have one good WR with no production, one good TE, and an aging RB. Trading the farm for a QB in this wasteland isn't my idea of putting him in an environment he's likely to succeed, especially so given the glaring flaws of every potential QB.

I can understand if they move for Stroud, but it's putting him in a very unenviable position to develop.

Haven't seen any significant concrete links (other than attending pro day) between the Titans and Harrison and he is another guy who plays with inconsistent physicality.

Interested to see what happens to Harrison because there has been almost no buzz about teams loving him.

He's not the most physical run blocker but he makes for it with smarts and instincts. He is rarely if ever out of position and after watching more than 6 tapes of his, I rarely if ever saw his man make the play in the run game. He's not going to be a liability and as he adds strength he could become a plus run blocker given it's more about smarts, positioning, and technique rather than brute force.

I do wonder if some teams were a little put off by his positional drills at the combine his movement and balance weren't great when compared to some of the other top prospects on the field that day.

I'm not really a big fan but it is curious why he isn't getting any real pre-draft discussion or buzz.

The heir to the the throne???

But in reality, Spears would be the perfect Hilliard replacement and we saw how important he was for us early in the season. I do wonder if they would take Spears in round 2 or 3, given the other needs.

Up to 24 known visits - haven't gotten that many reported on a long long while.

Might actually be 26 depending how you classify Dalton Kincaid plus that Joey Fisher one from today which seems to indicate a potential top 30 visit.

Likely day 3 guy with injury/durability concerns.

Another Day 2 (likely 2nd round) CB. Would seem there is a good chance one of Banks, Forbes, Smith, or Brents will be a Titan come draft weekend.

Assuming no trade up, shaping up to be OT/CB/WR in the first three rounds, followed by OL, LB, and maybe RB on day 3.
