I know you like Willis and his potential but based on his performance so far I don't see any evidence that he can read an NFL defense or run a scout team at this time. You want to get rid of Woodside,  I get it,  but don't inflate Willis's abilities as justification

He does not have to know the O to win games.  That is the fallacy of this board.  VY and Jackson did not either for their first two years.  It is a joke to think one has to.  One thing is clear.  Willis can win games on pure talent and Woodside can't win either way.  VY and Jackson won games on pure talent.  A running QB magnifies a running game effectiveness and we have the best in the business now.  Josh Allen's rookie year was a Malik Willis show.  I am not worried one iota about Willis.  Locker and Boller couldn't win because their talent wasn't as good as Willis is already.  Both were first rounders.  Willis was a three.  Reading a D matters when you are in yr three or four and taking over a team QB spot.  A back up just needs to get through a season.   Willis has that and anyone with two eyes can see it.

It's not "clear" to me Willis can win games. Not everyone including 31 other teams and scouts sees it as "clearly" as you. I hope you're right but about his future but seriously,  not needing to read defenses or know the O to win games?

And again - Woodside's talent shouldn't be the lens to evaluate Willis.
