It would be funny if the Titans claimed Brown off waivers like they did Zach Cunningham, another guy dumped supposedly as a malcontent.

It would be funny. But unlikely because of the distraction factor so close to the playoffs.

And I don’t imagine that AB is a willing blocker these days either.

I know Robinson was interested in Brown a couple of years ago but that was before Oakland and TB and all of the mess in between those two chances.....

Zero chance they bring in a ME guy diva.  The only reason TB did is because Brady wanted it.

It’s unlikely, but I don’t think it’s totally impossible. I think JRob and Vrabel would need to talk with him after Tampa waives him to figure his mindset.

In the end, there is no real financial commitment. It’s just a question of whether he would come in and contribute or whether he would be a huge distraction. The team could absolutely use his presence on offense and no one would dispute that. They just have to be comfortable with his personality being around the team, and that’s the issue.

In the end, players get lots of chances so long as they are good players. Brown is one of those guys with ability that some team tends to find worth the risk. Especially in the hunt for a Super Bowl…

this team seems mentally stronger than any team we’ve had for some time. we’ve dealt with covid, most injuries in the NFL most in NFL history possibly and we’re still one win away from number 1 seed. I don’t think Brown will add anymore distractions than this team hasn’t already handled.

i think there’s no harm trying to pick him up.

I wouldn't judge a team picking him up for next year, but right now he's got an ankle injury.  There's nothing to pickup, he's not playing.
