KC isn't close to elite this year.  Do we get props for beating 'elite' Seattle too, since they won the SB a decade ago?

How many of our wins were against teams with winning records?

Answer: 1.

We held the Chiefs to the lowest score they've had in NINE seasons. It's OK to enjoy your team, you know. It must suck to live life always looking at the worst in it.

It's early but if current trends hold you will have the Bills, Bengals, Ravens, Titans, Chargers, and Raiders in with the Browns, Chiefs, Steelers, and Colts fighting over the 7th spot.

Don’t forget the Patriots, they’ll be in the mix too.

Colts seem to me to have it largely figured out. They can run. Wentz is proving to be more than competent in a system that fits him (aka, Tannehill to Dolphins while in Tennessee). And because of their GM, they always have a ton of talent that has no reputation but plays at a high level.  Plus their stadium gets loud.  Titans have played two games in a row beyond my expectations. They will need to play 3 in a row to win in Indy.  IMHO.

Titans have a comically easy schedule remaining.

The last test to really show how far the Titans have come for the rest of the season is the Rams. Win that, and we can realistically look at the Number 1 seed. Crazy to think the Colts may be the next best team we play.

Our remaining games:

Colts

Rams

Saints

Texans

Patriots

Jags

Steelers

49ers

Dolphins

Texans

I don't see the 7th AFC team having a great record to be honest.

Patriots might still need to get to 10 wins to get that final AFC playoff spot winning 7 of their final 10 is going to be tough with their remaining schedule, one positive for them is the AFC North and AFC West could cannibalize themselves during the run home.

TN will struggle with Indy, Rams, Saints, Pats, Steelers, 49ers.  All will be close games.

Its the NFL, so sure, any given Sunday. But 49ers are a bad team and about to hand the keys over to the rookie.

The Patriots are already 0-3 against the NFC so they’d likely have tie-breaker edges over some teams.
