I ask because personally i get the feeling that a lot of these decisions are made by J-Rob but with a lot of input from Vrabel with J-Rob of course getting final say if they disagree. I've just always gotten the sense that those two work a lot more closely than the typical HC and GM. He has to feel he knows how to handles everything. I thing Vrabel is one of those guys with huge potential and huge ego. JRob is not a pushover, but I think Vrabel ended up with more input than he needed to have this year. The defense. Somehow, JRob thought a third year HC with a poor record in one year as a DC was ready to be HC/DC(not really because Bowen OLB Coach is calling plays). Vrabel is just getting started as a HC-he didn't need a lot of extra responsibility. JRob has put together a championship contender with a 5-27. He hired Vrabel/LaFleur/Pees. Ass kickers. One left after one season to be a HC. Arthur Smith is being mentioned for HC 2021. These are pretty damn good hires. Wilson was a swing and a miss. A great big one. JRob isn't perfect. There is no doubt Vrabel discusses team decisions with Robinson and has input, that doesn't change the fact Robinson has final say and is in complete control. Robinson doesn't need excuses anyway. The team just went to the AFC title game and is on the verge of likely going 11-5 at worst. The offseason decisions were sound regardless of the 2020 outcomes.
