Don't be so sure it gets rescheduled the NFL is reportedly very reluctant to add week 18, the Titans might end up forfeiting the Bills game.

I’m not saying that won’t happen, but there has never been a forfeit in the history of the NFL.

I don't see any scenario where they force any team to forfeit a game. That would be a complete nightmare and would set a dangerous precedent for any other team who are experiencing covid cases
scine09
Based on how they've done it so far they'd need 3 straight days of no positives for an opening on Saturday. No way they have a game on Sunday with the opening being Saturday. They are going to have to make a decision here and soon. And I really only see 4 options here: 1. Move the game until Tuesday of next week while moving the Chiefs/Bills back from Thursday to Sunday (which I don't think would be as big a deal as usual since the debate is the same night as the scheduled game). 2. Make the Titans forfeit. 3. Cancel the game entirely and have each team play 15 games. 4. Add a week 18.
AussieTitanFan08
Dan Graziano just raised the possibility of the Titans having to forfeit the Bills game.

Which is fine by me, we were likely to lose and this avoids unnecessary injuries.

The scary thing is there are going to be some guys who tested positive who likely won't be available against the Texans.
scine09
It's now been between 9-11 days since these guys likely became infected. I would think this will stop soon. Right???
IrishTitansFan
The NFL needs to shut down operations for 2 weeks and set up 4 regional bubbles along with a playoff bubble. This is on the way to getting out of hand
AussieTitanFan08
Good to see the NFL is still in complete denial about the whole covid situation.

I saw someone raise the possibility of having the Bills play the Broncos this week and patch up the Patriots and Titans schedule at a later date. No way the teams go for it without any real prep for that opponent though
