lol some people just need to take the L. The way Mariota was proven to be the weak link and cause of most offensive issues was almost unprecedented in NFL history in how clear and conclusive it was. You couldn't engineer better conditions for a clearer experiment if you tried.

The thing is OZ... a long time ago I said Mariota was done and that he was holding the Offense back.

I'm just posting news here, without comment, ... because its a Mariota thread.

I'll continue to do so just to get the B&B autists all excited because it's funny to watch them type pages and pages in excitement. The amount of energy they put into the subject is fascinating.

Just a year ago, you were claiming he was perfectly fine as a QB and that the problem was lack of weapons and that they didn't pass the ball enough.

Not true in the slightest... I said he was still injured,  the offense was never the right fit, and lost his confidence with the injuries and constant coaching changes. I may have said swapping talent around at WR wasnt helping with chemistry?

I claimed during his rookie year they had no weapons.... which is a fact. And he was pretty damn good for a rookie in an offense that suited him.

Titans absolutely destroyed the player. Lets see if the west coast offense everyone said he belonged in will bring him back to life.

Wrong.  You are completely lying.  In fact, you claimed that the only issue he had was that his TD% was low and that all he needed was to pass it more.  We roundly made fun of you for having such a stupid stance not understanding the difference between volume and efficiency.

quote me, because i dont remember that at all.  dont just make claims from no where... find the date from last season and quote me.... should be easy for you. there was only like 6 games.

And here it is.  @titanruss convicted liar...... From 2019 (last year).

The whole thread that's in is full of gems from your platoon.....

Yet more evidence that the main thing wrong with Mariotas production is simply the lack of pass attempts our offense ran and TD%.

Even when the rate is better than most of the league - if you pass less, people remember the mistakes more.

Improve TD% back to where it was the first 2 seasons and the offense will take off.

So... not last season when I said I admitted he was holding us back.

Not last season or within a year, like you said ... it was in the spring.

Not the ONLY issue like you claim I said, ( I said it was the main one).... And still very true. Improve the TD % back to ~5% and there's much less complaints.

So you lied 3 times.

LOL, somehow the talent at WR seemed to explode under Tannehill who seemed the pick up the "offense that wasn't the right fit" with no issue.  You know who else also dealt with injuries and constant coaching changes?  Tannehill.  Yet, he seemed to do fine in less time (Mariota was more familiar with the offense) and managed to play well enough to secure a big contract.
