I'm not going to dispute that. & I thought it was funny how they were trying to justify it saying well maybe Rudolphs hand some how was caught in Garrett's helmet ??. Garrett didn't even tackle him hard.

Yeah, I thought that was funny too.  Totally a former QB (Troy Aikman) trying to defend a current QB.

Garrett deserves a long suspension. There’s absolutely no defending how far he took it. I also think it’s clear he just wanted to drag Rudolph down at the end of the game and didn’t have a “sack,” he just wanted to rub it in.

This absolutely infuriated Rudolph. He was literally clawing the helmet off the back of Garrett’s head. Once he can’t get out from under him, Rudolph puts all his effort into tearing Garrett’s helmet off. It’s only because of the chin strap that it doesn’t come off.

But it gives Garrett the idea to rip Rudolph’s helmet off. This is all Garrett’s fault, however, because he succeeded. If Rudolph succeeded, a flag would have come out then and there.

But he failed, and then he came after Garrett. Had the last part not happened, this incident wouldn’t be what it is.

Garrett was trolling Rudolph and the Steelers hard by doing the unnecessary take down, and Rudolph was absolutely a little bitch by clawing like a cave woman to take off Rudolph’s helmet.

I haven’t heard a media member point this out yet, maybe because there’s no defending Garrett, but Rudolph’s intention is very clear. He wanted the helmet off so he could throw blows. He just wasn’t smart enough in the moment to undo the chin strap first.

They both way overacted and overreacted. In the end, Garrett deserves the suspension et al, and Rudolph’s culpability is lost due to the outcome.

It also looked like Rudolph was trying to kick Garrett in the nuts as the offensive lineman were pulling Garrett off him.

That's only a speculation on your part. I think he just wanted Garrett off of him and grabbed whatever he could. You really think he's going to take his helment off and punch him? Please.

I think the ONLY reason to put that much effort into tearing off a helmet in that kind of situation is to then hit something softer than said helmet.

I mean, do you think Rudolph wanted the helmet removed so he could have a better conversation with Garrett?

Do you seriously think Rudolph would have stopped with just the helmet removal?

If you look at the footage again, the two men are more on their sides, and immediately after Rudolph’s hand hits the ground, he goes for the helmet. Zero hesitation.

Not to mention the two players had been separated and then Rudolph went after Garrett

He didn't kick him if you watch it and not just a picture.

He put his foot there and pushed. But it wasn't really a kick.

Sure, he could have been "putting his foot there and pushing" as opposed to actively trying to "kick" him.   The original point being Rudolph wasn't completely innocent in the whole scrum.
