Warriors have already peaked. They're not even making the playoffs.

1 game out of 82. I don't even like the Warriors but really? Is this whole forum full of people overreacting after 1 game?

Even though I find this thread unnecessary (could have been noted in the 2019 NBA thread) I don't believe there is much of an overreaction to this.

Outside of Curry and Russell, they will struggle to score.

Their 3rd best player in Draymond is already suffering from an elbow issue.

The fact Klay is now likely not to return this season is a big blow to their chances of finishing the season strong. Has to be a blow mentally for the team as well.

On top of all of that, a knock on the Lakers for their game against LAC was poor defense. We still held them to 112 (on the road).

They scored 141 on GS in their new arena and didn't score less than 30 in any one quarter. Scored 46 in the 3rd alone.

They looked far worse than LAL did against LAC, that's for sure. And I dont think WCS coming back healthy will make that much of a difference. Will help, but they seem to need a lot of it.

Also I've been hearing concerns about their new (local) fanbase in SF and how some are worried the crowd won't nearly be as big of a factor as it was at Oracle in OAK. Which isn't hard to believe.

With all that being said they have been the most accomplished team over the past 6 years so who cares about one potentially down year....

Warriors depth is a real issue as well. Unless Steph, in his 11th year, plays a ton of minutes and really lights it up, I just don't see how the Warriors can hang with the loaded West for 4 qtrs every game.

The warriors went young. They know there will be growing pains. Some of the young guys played pretty well last night. They really went the rebuilding route. If Klay wasn’t out they might have gone with a different approach this offseason.

We need Draymond to play like he did in the playoffs to be a playoff team. Really not worried about this season. It’s clear we are looking towards the future. DLo is an interesting piece to the puzzle for now and the future.

OF is just a homer who likes to post about teams bad times who have historically owned the rockets.

There was no way the Warriors were going to compete this season, even before Curry's injury (which was inevitable given his history).

We are done. I’m all for adding a lottery pick though. James Wiseman?

May be a huge blessing for the Warriors to have this sucky season while everybody is out hurt.

Dont let this distract you from the fact that the almighty Clippers who have such superior depth and talent are currently 10th in the west (tied for 8th) at 3-2.

Which makes the Lakers the current division leaders.

Of course the simple one would talk about Clips games early in the season without Kawhi or PG13 playing. Please. They’re going for a championship.
