Justafan
What about a guy like McClain from the Chiefs? He is a pretty good blocker but I know they used to let him run some in Baltimore too. I think it's pretty likely that they stick with Q. Johnson but its an interesting thought. Alcibiades
Harper can't play FB. He has the size but not the mentality. He's like Lendale in that regard. He plays more like a finesse runner than a bruiser, despire his size.
OILERMAN
They have to get Hall off the roster for the simple fact Munchak is liable to give him carries at the most important time of the season with the playoffs on the line even though Hall fumbles on 90% of all carries. Jamalisms
All I remember hearing the first few games was how badly we needed Sarge back. There was one heck of a lot of excitement when he returned. But, yeah, no carries for you!
Justafan
All I remember hearing the first few games was how badly we needed Sarge back. There was one heck of a lot of excitement when he returned. But, yeah, no carries for you! Sarge has been a weapon in years past and a highly regarded FB. This year he played poorly, was suspended and really let a lot of people down when he came back and the run game still struggled. He didn't get very many carries or receptions and he fumbled again during critical moments. Sarge fumbles something like 10-15 percent of the time. That is crazy. I really liked Hall and always hoped he would be that impact fb who did everything pretty well but he's not.
Jamalisms
Just because I'm not sure it's clear - the shift on him surprises me... but the comment on carries was serious. He should never, ever, touch the ball.

Nash
I don't think they should carry a FB at all Agree.. let Otto or another OL or Stevens line up as a blocker for short yardage.. I'd carry 4 RB's, a big power back, a receiver type, and 2 all-purpose

cshumak2
I don't think they should carry a FB at all I'm not sure about no FB, but I wouldn't mind our only FB being a guy Like McClain from KC. Use him more as a Short Yardage guy, and then when you need a FB you could use him.
OILERMAN
So Chris Johnson has already been largely replaced on passing downs and now people want to bring in a short yardage RB. What in the hell is he getting 55 mill for?

titanruss
Ringer is not a trade candidate unless all we want is a conditional 7th. No one wants a backup who is injury prone and averages 3 ypc.
