2020 Draft Prospects

Recommended Posts

Just starting a thread to serve as a watch list of players for the 2020 Draft.

One guy that caught my eye already is Iowa RT Tristan Wirfs, saw plenty of him last year while watching Hockenson at Iowa, the guy is an absolute monster, rare blend of size/power/mobility, with both Kelly/Conklin off contract at the end of this season RT could be a serious need next offseason.

Haven't dived into the potential 2020 class yet but these are the positions I'll be looking at:

Quarterback

Tight End

Center

Right Tackle

3-4 defense lineman

Edge

Corner

One sleeper I like at QB is Jordan Love from Utah State.

Jake Fromm - QB - Georgia

D’Andre Swift - RB - Georgia

Keshawn Vaughn - RB - Vanderbilt

Derrick Brown - DT - Auburn

Raekwon Davis - DT - Alabama

its a good year for OT as well

I would absolutely do everything possible to draft Jake Fromm next year.

Even if MM has a great year I would tag and trade and use the pick to help move up for Fromm. He is a can’t miss QB prospect in a class with Tua, Herbert, Costello as the other top guys.

I like Fromm best followed by Tua then Costello then Herbert

Landing Fromm and Swift or Vaughn at RB would be amazing. I dig Vaughn. He’s a deadly threat out of the backfield.

Think Kamara but faster

TE/C

then...

RT

CB

Utility RB/WR/KR/PR

hopefully not QB or RG but could still see a need there pretty easily.

Keep an eye on Utah St QB Jordan Love the kid has all the traits required of an NFL QB.

I hate that word, how about someone who has more than traits!

But yeah, I've seen a lot of hype about that kid.

What do we think of Nate Stanley? Huge statue pocket passer who has played in a pro system at Iowa.

Watched a lot of Iowa football because of my draft crush on Hockenson, Stanley is solid but need to see a lot more this CFB season to think he could be a franchise QB.

If we are going to take an Iowa player this season I want RT Tristan Wirfs the guy is a beast.
