That's what they did with Corsi. In the case of Manafort they are using a crime he was charged with before Trump even ran for anything and trying to use that to get him to lie about Trump. This is a massive violation of civil liberties. They are ruining people's lives, bankrupting people just for political purposes. Any real liberal would be horrified but there are few of them left.
