I’m not trying to argue that mathematical logic can answer philosophical logic. I’m saying they both utilize the same core. They are two different languages but have the same core logical systems. First predicate Logic for example is used in both mathematical and philosophical logic systems.

Heres a book to read if you want to see the similarities and differences.

So you're saying there are multiple forms of logic?

There are multiple fields of logic, yes. They start at the same root but divulge further down the line as mathematical logic is much more exact.

First order predicate is a large umbrella which is used in both. The most simplistic forms of logical theories and methods are used in both.

So what about Modal logic?  Predicate Logic?  Computational logic?

Then you go into just philosophic logic and you find a far different form of logic found by the Christians then you would from scientists.  It could all be interpreted as logic.  When Mills implements Utilitarianism, it is a different form of logic than what Kant used.  It's not the same logic that would be used in Legal Philosophy or metaphysics or what have you.  Depending on who is using it and how they are using it changes.  That's just a fact.  You are arguing that logic is a universal reasoning and there is only one system that is true.  That's just absolutely flat out wrong.  Anyone who's taken a philosophy 101 class could tell you.

So to argue that logic and that there is only one universal system and it doesn't matter who is using it or how it is being used by your own definition above is just flat out wrong.  You actually argued against your own original point.

I never stated it is on universal system lol. I said they all work on the same premise.

There is such a thing as universal logic. Philosophy 101 is a class in baby logic. Which funnily enough will have a calculus focus.

Guys everyone is entitled to their opinion especially if they aren't being jerks about it.  You aren't going to logic @Justafan out of feeling the way that he does, though listening and learning more about why he feels that way might change his mind.

@Justafan why are the anthem protests offensive to you personally?

I’ve spent the last fifteen years in the military. The flag and the anthem are sacred to me and not just because of my service. It is a representation of the respect for those who have died. Good men who were my friends. Also, it’s sacred  to my socialization and upbringing.

Should it not also represent equal protection and access to freedoms?

You’re missing the point on purpose and making horrible assumptions even though I’ve clarified multiple times. I expected more from you and enjoy your posts but beating me with a (verbal) cudgel because I feel the way I feel is a poor reflection of your values. Not mine.

Now you’re changing what you were saying.  Logic can either be interpreted in multiple ways or it can’t. And yes, it is baby logic, which apparently you didn’t take.

I’m just wondering how many of you opposers of the anthem protest actually said something to people walking around, on their cell phones, coming from or going to the concession stand..  This issue only became so important to you guys after the president and media got a hold of it.. that’s why you guys are hypocritical as hell... YOU WERE TOLD TO BE OFFENDED, BY MEN MAKING A STANCE FOR THEIR COMMUNITIES... AND THATS THE REASON MOST OF YOU ARE OFFENDED!!

money is a social construct you agreed to participate in to say that this made up thing has value.

flags are symbols - social constructs agreed by certain people to have a value.

just because you agree with one and not the other doesnt make you logically right,... it makes you close minded and ignorant.

If that’s your point, don’t muddy it up with fuckshit comparisons of stealing (taking someone’s property) to not worshipping an object as you believe they should. One directly affects a person while the other is a perception.

Flag worshipping isn’t required or a law (yet).

All the math is logic lmao. 2+2 is the one of the simplest ways to show logic.

Logic can be used mathematically or philosophically. The end result is always true or untrue through logic. To say your argument is logically sound is a fallacy lol.

Yeah...that’s not how logic works.

He won't answer. He's an asshole.

Some people are just dumb assholes Pat. I think you're too nice to people who honestly don't care about you. Or anyone it seems.
