Owners meetings on national anthem policy ongoing

The policy kicked-in and it just contemplates the players and personal IN THE FIELD.
Any player or person (team staff) who decides to not be part of this ceremony, will have the choice to remain in the locker room.

My take: This thing about playing the anthem on every regular NFL game is just way too much. Sports getting politicized, or including a politic-wise term into it, is just exagerating things in this matter.

Play the anthem at the SB or at international sport events finals or at medal ceremonies, but also the anthems get played during every game at a World Cup, for example.

I am sure the NFL will not be hypocritical about this and make the concession stands shut down during the anthem. Makes sense right?

The anthem is very important to show respect to our flag and country..surely something that important warrants the profits to stop for the length of our anthem.

I’m sure you mean it’s asking too much for millions of snowflake fans to care about what the players are protesting about...

What will happen with all the money our military is paying this billion dollar corporation if all the players decide to stay in the locker room during the anthem? Seems like that publicity could be even worse..

Shut down the bathrooms, too.

Soon, our home devices (Nest cams, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, etc) can monitor us to see if we are standing or protesting this beautiful and mandatory act of patriotism.

lmao fuck the NFL

Not a bright move. They are gambling on players being too scared but someone will protest this. If the team punishes the player it's going to look evil as fuck.

Just go back to the days of doing the national anthem before the players come out of the locker rooms. It’s such an easy solution. Why complicate matters?

This never should have become a huge problem.  The NFL controls the cameras.  All they had to do was put the camera on the flag and whoever preformed the anthem.  EOS.

In the grand scheme of things the crowds and fans will cheer any team fining a player and probably run the player out of town if they make a big stink out of it.

If you want to see how this works ask Kaepernick (still unemployed).  The NFL has lost millions on these babies trying to use the NFL and the anthem as their protest platform.   In other words the fans have been heard.

More evidence of collusion
