The board was so shellshocked over Locker that when a tall QB who stood like a statue in the pocket came along, he had to be good! I'm not sure anyone was fully convinced he was THE guy - well, except for one - but in the draft poll about a month prior to the draft, many of us voted to take Leonard Williams. I think it was a combination of Locker being so bad, Mett coming in and looking halfway competent, and then Leonard Williams being a pretty darn good prospect.
