Why? Mariota will he recovering from an injury, and they'll be wanting to protect him even more probably, esp early in the season.

Henry's protection should be better, otherwise I agree.  I'm not expecting much from Murray next year.  All onboard with using what tread is left, but it isn't much.

I'd be surprised if we don't draft a RB this year... This statement from Mularkey is bullshit. Henry will be taking over sooner rather than later. Titans would be smart to have three good RBs on the roster. Extends Murray's effectiveness throughout the season, preserves Henry's career (Henry had a lot of carries in both high school and college), and likely gives us another RB with a different skill set .

That's the thing, it's fairly obvious he's on his last leg. The idea of trying to stretch out his effectiveness is futile. I wouldn't run him in blowouts but otherwise there is nothing to protect. Go back to the thread when he was traded for, most people weren't that excited and thought he was near the end.

They drafted Henry early because of this

I'm shocked that nobody is saying the OL needs to block better on run plays.  Besides the toe injury, the holes were getting smaller and smaller as the season progressed.  All you hear is how great the OL did but in reality, there were times when it was terrible.  Not 2015 terrible but disappointing.

Murray is on his last leg, there is nothing to save. Ride him and throw him away

was looking at his salary structure, he can be cut at the end of 2017 with no hit to the cap.

will be very interesting which Murray returns in 2017 is it the pre or post injury version.

regardless of what happens this season Murray is either cut or restructured at the end of 2017.

You are either got your data from a very bad source, aren't very good at math or are intentionally posting bad data to mislead everyone.

not intentional. not a bad source. not bad at math. just a fuckup.  was adding on my phone and hit a 5 instead of a 2. got excited about the # and posted before double checking.i'll admit the fuckup. sucks to have wasted my time and everyone else's  typing shit out to have a much smaller basis for it than i thought.
