Jamalisms
Yep. It was a counter-point to the points made here... as the expressed request of OMan himself. I figured it was long enough without trying to discuss merit, or return to form, or speed, or earning the contract, etc.
WG53
Dude suck my dick sorry that I have faith in my team like every fan should instead I don't bash my team or say we suck I stick up for my team always. Thats a true fan. Not no bandwagoners like yourself. Love them when they win and hate them when they lose. Fucking low life Once again you still don't understand fandom past your little boyish bullshit. Being a true fan is not being blind to a player's deficiencies because he plays on your team and running off at the mouth to other's because they have the ability to be critical of someone while still supporting them. But surprise surprise that the retards of the world (people like you) try and act like being a fucking idiot homer is the only way to support a sports team. Now go kill yourself. OILERMAN
If you are discussing what a guy did to help win a game, what he did is the only thing that matters. Trying to dismiss what was done based on who he was playing is an entirely different discussion. I agree with you that in this specific discussion the fact the Panthers defense is terrible means nothing. But if you're saying CJ helped win the game, are you saying that minus his production would the Titans have won? I say yes, easily. Hasselbeck had 21 yds rushing but did that help them win the game? Also someone said(you?) I said he didn't produce. I didn't say that, I said he played terrible. If he produced 4 yds but could have had 15 with better play then he produced yet still was terrible. They showed him all through the game running poorly with well blocked runs.
OILERMAN
He averaged nearly 4 yards per carry in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, while rarely going for negative or zero yardage (and those that did were abnormal plays). The league average for yds per rush is 4.2. You're actually praising CJ for almost getting 4yds per carry against one of the worst run defenses in the league. Jamalisms
No, he averaged something like 4.8, however you have dissected that in an attempt to diminish the performance. The point is that even in those specific, smaller segments of the game hand-picked to make a point... he was still producing.

Jamalisms
Yep, and for a hand-picked segment of the game where the claim is a bad performance... I'll take 4ish ypc.
MadMax
Jamal has, for some reason, decided to try to become the most tedious devil's advocate on this message board. I say this because unlike most tedious assholes here, he seems to have an IQ of at least average level. Therefore, I figure he's trying to have fun with everyone. Or, he's just a supemacist geek who's tired of getting wedgies and being ridiculed for being such..... Judging by his picture, I'd have a hard time not considering the latter over the former. Either way, I can't imagine why anyone would praise CJ this year.

Less than 4 is below average(against a bad run defense) and when you see all the holes from the replays of the game broadcast I say it was terrible. Either way, I can't imagine why anyone would praise CJ this year. Not sure if I get the point of this post. I definitely don't agree with the style or the sentiment. I'd say that his view on the CJ topic is one shared by many and all he as done is provide data to back up his claims. I don't see where he is saying that CJ is playing at the same level that he always has or anything outlandish. Even if you don't agree with his assessment, the personal attacks seem a little silly and unproductive. Also, he and OILERMAN, who has some of the strongest opposing views to him, have managed to stay away from the personal stuff. I don't see it as necessary.
