One thing we discussed ( I mentioned, at least) was that Murray seemed a bit off last game. Could easily be that my paranoia of overworking him had me seeing things when it's really just that the defense played it well... but I do wonder if he's as comfortable with more options and such.

I think it had more to do with Hortons unwillingness to adjust to the pass and keep loading the box.

Yet of they win 8 games, you're just as wrong as 6 wins and a dirty homer to boot.

It wasn't a contest, your preconceived agenda driven prediction was retarded

Actually I wanted to pick more - and said as much. It was a schedule driven prediction, which was apparently a terrible analysis, given how it's turning out.

But shout your narrative from the mountaintops if you want. We'll pretend you aren't talking to yourself about a 10 win prediction.

You almost ditched the team because the Mularkey hire was a guaranteed path to Maroita ruin and team failure.

You own it

McCarthy being on the way to termination is added bonus

Eventually McCarthy will be fired. After a million wins and at least one Super Bowl. Poor him!

I almost ditched the team because AAS didn't try and didn't care. I said a few times that of she interviewed legit candidates and picked Mularkey, I could stomach it. Not trying is still unacceptable. She won't be forgiven.

The real question is whether the Titans can actually win 10 games,  given the remaining schedule.

We need to go 7-3 or better the rest of the season to get to 10 wins.

Of the remaining 10 games, 6 of those are against opponents that currently have a losing record.  Even if we win all of those games, that still leaves at least one game we would need to win against a team that currently has a winning record.

It is possible that we do it, but it would require a remaining record of 1 win better that winning 2 of every 3 games.  Mariota is improving, Wright is back, and our defense is very good.

We have a shot.  Tomorrow's game against the Colts will tell us a lot and set the stage.  Perhaps it is even a must win if we have any reasonable hopes of making it to 10 wins.
