@SuperMariota8

see Cox deal

63 guaranteed. Damn near double what Denver offered Miller and Miller is twice the player

I don't see Miller signing for less than 60 guaranteed now.

This is why Miller turned down the offer and for 24 extra million, you would too.

I can see Casey asking for new money at end of season.

Essentially Casey is making peanuts compared to guys who aren't on his level. Granted Cox is a little better.

I just knew someone would have to me mention me when the news of this deal came out.

Look, maybe I was a little overboard with the greed thing but it just pisses me off when grown ass men sit out because they can't get their way. That's all.

Maybe this is what Von should think about doing. Goes back to the immaturity issue. Yes Cox held out, but he did show up for minicamp and made it feel like he wasn't in it just for the money. He went to be with his team and the money situation sorted itself out

There's always too many injuries that are serious in non contact drills, you show good faith to the team but from a business standpoint, showing up and participating just to show good faith is pretty dumb when you're dealing with what will be an extra 30 million he'll receive. Bronco's have no choice but to give in, why risk it?

You know Nashville has a team because a grown man couldn't get his way, right?

  • 1 month later...

He got a 23 mill signing bonus

He's fully guaranteed 42 mill at signing and it's basically impossible not to pay him the 70 mill the way the contract is structured, he'd have to do something epic to not get the 70 mill before march of 2018, then 9 mill of his 2019 salary is fully guaranteed.

This contract is the real deal
