kyle021
Hell if Cleveland loses many are sayin Lebron could leave. If he does I would welcome him to LA even though I can't stand his act at times. I would support him then lol getting Lebron, Whiteside and Ingram wowzers

I had big dreams of Kobe going out with a ring, I was not ready to accept how bad it would be. I do believe this year is different and someone will want to take that superstar role in LA now Kobe is gone. I disagree with Fanatic. i believe Whiteside is definitely coming to LA with Barnes and hopefully Speights. Draft Ingram and sign Williams to extension and maybe try for Gordon. Would be a very very good young roster who could push 30-35 wins. The west is a bitch. If that roster was in the east we would be playoffs. I wasn't even mocking you really just Lakers fans in general lol, have a few friends who are into the Lakers and believed the same stuff 2 years ago and dwindling sentiment last year
abenjami
The Lakers are terrible and have no chance of competing for a title next season. I found their '16 team photo online.

No one wanted to play for/with Kobe because ma fuckers are soft these days and couldn't live up to the expectations he held them to and didn't want to put in the work he felt they should be putting in. Howard is perfect example. It was all "smile Kobe" when they met in the finals. Then he comes to LA because he wants to be a winner. And is then all "damn Kobe, get off my back. I want to be great without having to work for it". That was obvious with how poor and out of sync he has been with his mates in HOU. All LA haters (whoever they are) should suck Mark Cubans dick. Without his crying LA gets CP3, makes another trade and probably was the team banging with LeBron and his Heat/Cavs the past 7 years. I was soo happy how Karma came back to bite him in the ass with the DeAndre situation. Although Jordan wouldn't have made Mavericks a contender the way CP3 would have in LA. This x100 we had Chris Paul and the league nixed it. Fuxking furious about that. Mae would have been Miami on roids

They needed other teams to start competing because the dominance of LA was ruining basketball for average fans. EL. OH. wiscotitansfan
I really couldn't care less why it was nixed, I've said I don't follow basketball You are fucking comical though if you think the NBA was worried about the LA becoming too dominant in a league that is known for having dynasty after dynasty throughout the sports history. Comical as well. I'm a sports fan. What's comical about it, You're upset that someone who's probably 7th favorite sport is bball rips on the Lakers? And let's be real, it's the NFL offseason and I am on a Titans board. Hardly am I going out of my way for the sport. I'm watching game 7 tonight but this will be the 2nd game I watch the whole thing of the season.
wiscotitansfan
I fucking know the NBA, you don't need to dumb it down for me. I don't know or care why it was rejected but the NBA worrying that the Lakers were going to be another dynasty was not one of them.
abenjami
LOL at blaming a nixed trade for Odom's life falling apart.

Gasol and Odom were over 30 years old. Gordon was coming off a 20 ppg season with the Clippers. Anyway if that proposed trade went through (the one with the Lakers) it's a very huge stretch to say LA even sniffs the finals anyway. They were coming off 3 straight Finals appearances and outside of injury plagued Bynum, they had shitty frontcourt players.
Oiler FANatic
Lakers fans are spoiled little bitches, just like Cowboys fans. Dallas hasn't done shit for 20 years, now it's the Lakers turn to suck!!!
wiscotitansfan
Just to show how fucking delusional Lakers fans are... This popped up on my facebook " James, Durant, Melo in LA. Next year. "
rns90
2 hours ago, JakePA_Titan said: Well CP3, at the time, was considered the best PG in the game. Kobe still had a solid 5 years left. And that was before Howard started his downfall. Those three together, at their best, would have been contenders for sure. Also Hornets were getting Gorgan Dragic and a first round pick, along with Louis Scola and Odom. But they settle for Gordon who was overrated. Kaman who was over thirty and not great. And Aminu. Is he even in the NBA anymore? That trade hurt not only LA but the Hornets as well. Anyone who thinks that was handled professionally is insane. Quit trying to make it seem like the Hornets got shit in that trade. You left out that they also picked up MIN unprotected 1st rounder that year. MIN had the worst record in the NBA in 2010-2011. So yeah, if you're trying to rebuild and sell, of course you take the probable high lotto pick (ended up being 10th). And what team in their right mind, takes on a significant amount of salary obligations when they are trying to be sold?
abenjami
How was the league's handling of the trade when the Lakers got Kobe from the Hornets for a bunch of crap?
