Jets trade #6 Muhammad Wilkerson and a 2nd round pick for #2 and Gregory is a Raider with Cooper a redskin

Williams goes to Jax

Titans take... Drum roll

Dante Fowler Jr

Turn the #2 pick into Wilkerson and Fowler and our D is on the path to being legit.

I would consider packaging both 2nd rounders and a future pick to move into the late 20's to draft PJ Williams giving us a rangy big athletic man or zone cover CB who can also play FS down the road

I honestly think PJ doesn't make it past 20 though

That ain't gonna happen but I would ask for Damon Harrison, whose an absolute monster of a NT.

I like Leonard as much as the next guy, but honestly I think we can sign a guy in FA that can benefit just as much...

We can sign a NT like Dan Williams 5-6 million a year, and keep Ropati at LE and let Hill, Woods, and Jones rotate between DE and NT

We can then add a few mid tier pass rushers in FA around 3-4 million a year, and draft two in April...

Assuming Gregory is the dominant force we expect him to be... We would be getting a premier pass rusher for roughly 1 million a year... This means we can avoid paying a big name pass rusher in FA 13-14 million a year, and use that additional 12 million to address RT and WR

We can make this team better with numbers, and the right players... I honestly think how much we accomplish in FA will dictate whether we draft Gregory or Williams...

If we land Williams and a few mid tier pass rushing OLB we will go the best OLB at #2

If we lose out on Williams or Phil Taylor in FA, but sign Jerry Hughes then we pursue Leonard Williams at #2

Who the hell knows, but I do know that we can rob peter to pay pan for a few years without it catching up to us in a few years to better this team now, and for the future

I remember somebody talking him up last year this time, was that you?

He's a beast but I've said I've wanted Kenrick Ellis, whose his backup. He's a FA this year & would start for just about any other team, he's just stuck behind Harrison who might be the best run player in football. Ellis is 6'4 350 or so & can move, whoever signs him will get a stud.

Free agency is much deeper at OLB this year than it is at DE.  You have more options to get the right type of guy in here and the surplus at the position should push the price down a little.  Makes more sense to me to resign Morgan and bring in another OLB in FA, upgrade the NT spot with one of the two or three really proven guys available and then draft Williams at two and hedge your bets by going OLB again in the second round.

To be honest I'm torn between Gregory and Williams. I was well into the Williams hype but am more and more intrigued with Gregory and what a massive upgrade he could be taking over the elephant/Leo for Wimbley. I'd sign Morgan to play on the strong side and draft Gregory if the draft were today.

I believe we can upgrade the DL in FA, the draft (later) and by better utilizing the guys we have. Like maybe getting a real NT and using SLH at DE. We also have to hope Jones can be a serviceable player and not a waste.

Plus, we really need a quality WR and DB as well as a RT. So with those needs maybe getting the best edge pass rusher is the best way to go with the #2 pick.

I really think the LeBeau hire could change our draft plans. The DL in his scheme have never been the playmakers but he's always had awesome OLB's. Pitoitua is actually the exact type of DL the Steelers preferred when they were at their best.

I think the chances we pick Gregory have increased & I also think there's a decent chance we trade down & pick Ray or Shelton. NT is huge in LeBeau's scheme.

I love how the offense has completely been ignored. We couldn't convert 3rd downs last year if we held the other teams defense at gunpoint.

I love Cooper as well but he's just not as good a prospect as these guys.

You're spot on about the O though, it needs big time help.

The jets are really the only team I would trade with because both QBs should be taken so either Cooper or Gregory will fall. I think the Redskins will take Scheriff!

Hopefully its Gregory!

But at the same time you couldn't be mad with 124 receptions over 1700 yards and 16 TDs while seeing double teams nearly every game! Also WR is one of the biggest needs!

I'm really back and forth because as much as I would like extra picks I would almost rather stay at 2 and draft the best player in the draft at Leonard Williams. If we did trade I wouldn't go any lower then the Jets pick.
