As for NFL record keeping, it is recorded as a pass break up by B. Fletcher, which it actually was. Whether you can see it or not! The NFL also records the results of bad calls by refs as gospel. I know what I saw. Nate could've caught that ball and honestly even if it was tipped it was target. He dropped it because he see the defender coming and didn't think the ball would beat him there. Nate could've caught that ball and honestly even if it was tipped it was target. He dropped it because he see the defender coming and didn't think the ball would beat him there. The surprise you saw was nate realizing the ball actually made it through. Stupid question. Have you ever tried to catch a football that gets tipped like that? I wasn't trying to imply that Warmack is anything other than a big ol' pile of steaming horse sh**. Watching it live I too thought it was tipped. If the ball was tipped in such a way that it changed the trajectory then I would agree it was a very tough catch but to my eye even if it was tipped, the tip did not alter the path in such a way as to make the catch impossible. In the same game we see Justin hunter who's been labeled a bum by this board catch a pass that was not only tipped but hit despite a change in trajectory, speed, and rotation and take it to pay dirt. So please explain to me why it is so impossible for Nate to make that play when we saw the team bum turn a more severely tipped pass into 6 points in the same game. I never said it was an easy play to make only that it was not as impossible as some are implying. This is as all assuming the pass was even tipped which I'm not really ready to concede. The point isn't that nate is expected to make the tough catch. The point is that the pass was catchable, and thus not impossible and the result of a good throw. Look at the point the pass to Hunter was tipped and then see how long he has to adjust to it. Now compare that to how long Washington has to adjust.
