He should be more careful. He bought those cigars so long ago they're probably spoiled by now.

Good thing they've held on to him as long as they have. It's worked out so well for them.

I figured it would happen, but why now? Is the team just being nice to let him explore other teams knowing it cannot get anything for him - or did the team gain by doing it now?   This is my April's Fool joke.

It's poor form to pretend to fall for an April Fools joke as an April Fools joke.

I did not pretend. I stated in white, not black, after the black.  Just have to move cursor over it as anyone knows.

I agree. The alternatives on the roster were worse and always injured to boot.

This assumes that had we cut CJ, the only other RBs we would have used were our backups like Ringer and Harper. If we had cut CJ, we would jave brought in others.

Of course they would have picked up another RB and it's almost impossible to not replace the production CJ gave 90% of the time

Some people thought CJ would be a top 5 RB last year and the team would run on anyone, I didn't

I fell for it, especially after the OL was opening up gaping holes in the first preseason game. I didnt think CJ would have a monster year, but I pegged him for 1300-1400 at about 4.5 YPC.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the run game does this year. I'm not as down on CJ as you were, but pretty close. The no gains & losses were just draining after awhile, there's only so many 2 & 11's you can stomach. But I also think Bruce was the worst OL coach in the league by a decent margin.

In 2011 with Chris Johnson holding out and Ringer injured Jamie Harper got the first team carries in preseason. He had 38 carries 168yards 4.4 ypc and 3 TDs. He even had a 46 yd TD.

Preseason don't mean a damn thing.
