ZEPPELIN
They teach capitalization of proper nouns, which they apparently don't where you're from. As for comparative analysis, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that despite working through several offensive coordinators, two head coaches, and numerous OL configurations, CJ is a half-ass, me-first, pussy that could be replaced with a half-eaten bag of Fritos. While there are several FA options that you might claim are inferior to CJ1K, I would argue that given the opportunities, every one of them would have outperformed our backfield ballerina. I would bet @OILERMAN has broken more tackles on his mail-route than CJ has on the football field the last three years. My hope is that the Titans wait until the last minute to release the punk, and he is signed for a non-guaranteed league minimum half-way through the season....by the Rams. HILARIOUS!!!!!! titanruss
Insults from the only poster left that defends CJ is hardly an insult. It's actually a compliment that an idiot like you doesn't like Iowa, and hopefully will never pollute our great state with your lack of intelligence or understanding. Stay where you are and lean heavily on 'today's technology' to fix your unique brand of stupid. As for CJ, my opinion is based on the past 3 years, most of which I spent reasonably defending the hope that he could return to form. It's funny that you accuse me of lacking analysis and only issuing vitriol when outside of your initial comment, that is all you have done. I understand, however, because like with the Fisher apologists, there isn't a fact you can cite that will bring any legitimacy to your argument. I'm still waiting on your list of FA RBs that would be worse than having CJ back on the roster. Uh huh.... don't use the same corn husk to pleasure yourself that your mom did.. and enjoy the meth. Anyhow, I could give two shits your opinion of CJ or what you would argue. That isn't what this thread is about. As far as the FA... pretty much every one except maybe McFadden, Brown, and Moreno completely sucks ass. Moreno hasn't done shit except this year and it was still not that impressive, even with Manning as his QB. The other two get hurt more than just about any player in the league. You are delusional if you think anyone else is worth a damn. Donald Brown?!? LMAO!!! So back on topic..... If we don't pick up one of the first three and we don't draft a guy... I'm willing to bet CJ would stay in that scenario.
NashvilleNinja
**SHOCKING NEWS** Jim Wyatt @jwyattsports The #Titans have no plans to re-sign WR Kenny Britt. This shouldn't come as a surprise Oh my god... I am utterly crestfallen at this news. Quick, somebody get Daphne to make me a warm cup of camomile tea and honey to sooth my aching heart. IsntLifeFunny
Donald Brown averaged 5.3 yards per carry with a terrible offensive line. He would have exceeded CJ's total yardage if Grigson wasn't such a dumbass for trading for Richardson. I would take him all day over CJ, especially when looking at what their contracts will demand. IowaOiler
I can't imagine a scenario where keeping CJ is the right answer. Wait, if the scenario that was brought up last week, the entire team dies in a plane crash...then I want CJ on the team. As much as it would suck, not having to watching him curl-up and brace for impact three yards in the backfield would grant some solace in the face of such a calamity. @titanruss...just stay the fuck out of Iowa. It's not that we don't need fast-food cooks, but after conducting a poll at our local Hardee's, even they understand that CJ sucks.
IsntLifeFunny
GD Iowa. You don't have to wish that upon a guy because he sucks at this point. He has been one of the best players in Titans' history, maybe the best in terms of personal accolades.
OILERMAN
GD Iowa. You don't have to wish that upon a guy because he sucks at this point. He has been one of the best players most overrated in Titans' history
IowaOiler
Best players in Titans history? Are you kidding? The only reason he got 2K yards was because Jeff Fisher was so inept of a coach, he had to force feed CJ carries because the season was lost by week 6...what else was going to put people in the stands, or keep him employed? CJ has had every opportunity to succeed, including a monstrous contract extension, people blaming the OL (like myself), being given carries due to pay rather than performance, and has been essentially healthy his entire career. Despite all that, he couldn't hold the jock-strap of Earl Campbell or Eddie George...and that's just at his position. Hell, I would rather have Lorenzo White or Gary Brown in the backfield....at their current ages.
code
Somehow I never envisioned that we would have Iowa-laced trash talking on a Titan site. I've driven through Iowa. Surprisingly attractive country. As to the discussion at hand, I see no scenario where we keep CJ in 2014. Greene was signed as the stop gap. I think the Titans add a mid rounder and possibly a lower end free agent. And I have no axe with CJ. He has been one of the more productive Oilers/Titans running backs. In fact, he is arguably top three behind Earl and Eddie, and for some, he would rank ahead of Eddie. Some would throw Lorenzo White into this mix. I always liked Mike Willis -- not many will remember that name. Iowa, no more George Amundson's are needed in the first round. Or Jaws Hardeman's. 5 years of relatively productive play from a RB is as good as you typically will ever get. 1,000 yards isn't meaningful as it use to be but CJ1K x 5 made him one of our more productive players in the past decade -- all animosity aside. IowaOiler
If you had as many carries as CJ has had the past three years, I bet you would have got 1K yards each season too, @code.
Denali
LOL ! He got played because he got paid. When it comes to CJ, the Titans are the ones who got played.

IsntLifeFunny
Is there any player with individual records in Titans history? Kearse has the rookie sack record, I believe. Volek and Bennett had some type of record for a three game stretch, but I don't think it still stands. CJ has broken several records, and is in the top five in several others. As I've said, he has more personal accolades than any player to play in Tennessee. He also had a better three year stretch than any individual player, besides Steve and maybe Roos, to play in Tennessee.
IowaOiler
i didn't realize you were talking about yourself in the food service industry until this post. Great comeback...I bet it took you all night to think of that. Next time, ask your 18 year old boss for advice. Is there any player with individual records in Titans history? Eddie George and Steve McNair led the team to a Super Bowl (even did it handicapped with Coach Ocho). Earl Campbell took the team to the AFC Championship game twice, going nose-to-nose against the Steel Curtain. Chris Johnson made it through half of a home playoff game. Does CJ have more individual records...yep. Does a Titans fan give a fuck....nope.

CJ is the second or third greatest player to play in a Titans uniform.
