Fuck that. I had 3rd row seats on the 40 yard line until I sold my PSLs a couple of years ago. I’m glad I got out when I did. 65K or anything close to that is insane. If I want to go to a game I’ll just pay out the nose for a ticket. It will be expensive, but nothing compared to what I’d be paying for PSLs.

Are you going to have to pay the full PSL price as an existing PSL holder?

This is exactly why this war is not about Ukraine in the same way that WWII was not about Poland. Ukraine just happens to be the current victim. It's about Putin and a Russian society that has largly endorsed his complete disregard for human decency. It's also why there can't be a negotiated peace where Putin is rewarded for his aggression. That would only set the stage for his next victim.

The short term focus for now has to be on air defense systems as opposed to jets. They can somewhat compensate for the lack of offensive air capability with the cluster munitions and long range missiles. But until they can neuter Russian air power all those fancy tanks we're giving them won't help much.

Unfortunately the training on the F16s hasn't started yet and won't be completed until next year. This is the area where we've drug our feet when providing aid...and it has caused a major impact on Ukraine's options for their counter-offensive.

This is exactly what they're doing. Without air superiority they'd get decimated if they just charged in.

Hopefully we'll see a Stalin-like purge of top military leaders. Putin is paranoid enough to do it...well...try it at least.

People have an unrealistic expectation that this offensive should be expected to advance as fast as the previous one, but they're completely different scenarios. The Russians were completely surprised and unprepared for the last offensive, but had a year to dig in and prepare for this one. Given the strength of the Russian defenses it's going to be difficult to advance quickly without air superiority...which means they don't have close air support and at the same time their armor is vulnerable to Russian air attack. They need more planes and anti-air defense systems. They're on the way, but it takes time to train pilots on new aircraft. I think this is the biggest area where the West has drug their feet in providing aid. Ukraine has not committed the bulk of their forces to the offensive yet. They're still attacking with smaller units that don't have the strength to overwhelm dug in defenses. They're still trying to figure out the best place to make their major push and I suspect may also be waiting on more of the air assets to arrive. Ukraine could probably throw the bulk of their forces into the battle and achieve a breakthrough, but it would come at a tremendous cost in casualties and Ukraine doesn't have an unlimited supply of soldiers. They have to be extremely efficient in how they deploy them to minimize losses. They will lose a war of attrition.

I'm pretty sure Prigozhin, Putin...or maybe both will be dead pretty soon. There's no way both survive very much longer.

Of course they did. And Prigozhin had to know that would happen.

At this point Russian soldiers have to be wondering what the hell they're even fighting (and dying) for.

It's a net positive for Ukraine regardless of how it plays out.

Putin went on national TV and called Prigozhin and Wagner traitors and accused them of treason. He can't just say "never mind" less than 24 hours later and expect to maintain credibility. Also not insignificantly Prigozhin came out and stated that the entire pretext for the Ukraine war was based on a lie. Whatever other consequences that will result, there has to be a major affect on the morale of soldiers in the trenches who no doubt have lost whatever confidence they had in their leadership.

Prigozhin's already crossed the point of no return. He and Putin can no longer co-exist.

Putin's main concern now is staying alive.

It's hard to image Wagner being able to make it to Moscow in one piece unless they can get the Russian air force to stand down.

Prigozhin knows he's a dead man walking at this point. His only chance to survive is to overthrow Putin and the Russian army. It's a long shot, but either way Russians killing Russians is a good thing.

Make no mistake. Putin sees Prigozhin is a direct threat. Prigozhin recently called him "happy grandpa"...and I don't think he meant it as a compliment. The war might very well end with the outbreak of civil war inside of Russia. I wouldn't be surprised if that was part of the reason Putin is reluctant to send more ammo to Wagner. He's paranoid and knows he's in a very tenuous situation.

All NFL contracts are only about the future. Nobody gets paid for what they did last season unless the team thinks they can do it again next season.

My point is, even if he worked in intelligence that doesn't mean he should have access to "all" the intelligence. I can't imagine that a 21 year old should be high enough up in the intelligence chain to have access to some of the information he had. At minimum there's a major procedural issue and I do think it's a big deal that some of this information got out.

There's no way a 21 year old member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard should have had access to some of the information he leaked. They can and should lock him up for being so stupid, but I hope they don't just make him the fall guy for guys higher up who effectively "leaked" the info to him. They're just as culpable.

He hasn't elevated the Ravens to contenders.
