  1. This is what Martin does with his characters. Jamal is right about Snow as well. He was my favorite character other than Tyrion in the books and he hasn't translated to the screen at all.
  2. Fair point but you have to throw out the numbers that Griffin put up due to their offense. You could argue the same for Wilson and Kaepernick since they had ridiculous run games and even better defenses. I would add that it should be about where Locker needs to get to and not just where the 1st and 2nd year starters are in relation to him.
  3. It's funny you mentioned VY. The same excuses are being made for Locker that were made for Young: dropped passes, multiple coordinators, isolated performances, ect.
  4. Let's see comparable numbers for the top 10 passers in the league.
  5. I remember hearing they were splitting the 3rd book into seasons 3 and 4 however they seem to be out pacing that timeline to me. Anyone else agree?
  6. Lol. Players are terrible about things like this. It's half the reason the probowl teams are a joke.
  7. I disagree. The signed both Wilson and Pollard for a reason.
  8. Good point. If that happens it may be worth taking on Pollard's weaknesses.
  9. Reo and Prag get it and they don't need to regurgitate info from rotoworld, PFF, or waltersfootball in order to do so.
  10. I'll respond later when I'm not driving. Since you are a mental midget I have to spell everything out for you.
  11. You are missing my point. I'm not advocating they blow stupid money in FA. Don't sell me on the plan to address a terrible pass rush is for them to hope a difference maker at DE is there in the first. They are a building a team around a power rush offense that lacks deep threats. That is being paired with a blitzing defense that lacks a pass rush and is weak in coverage. The two systems do not match and reinforces the idea this team is run by idiots.
  12. This is an overly optimistic point of view.
  13. Right. Because we can totally count on rookies starting and being productive from day one. This team is not going to be good next year.
  14. No pass rush and the signing of in the box Safeties doesn't really address this team's biggest weakness. Pass defense.
  15. We better hope like hell the Defense generates turnovers and the offense learns to score quickly. Teams are going to go up and down the field on this defense with the way it's being constructed.
  16. Did you account for rookie RBs that don't see third down because they need to adjust to the NFL passing game?
  17. You ignore that not all rookie RBs are given the required carries to break 1000 yards.
  18. Actually I do because my wife is a Skins fan and I live in the D.C. area. RG3 had a very good year without question. But people need to put that in context.
  19. Do you have any idea how bad the Giants, Eagles, and Cowboys defenses were this year?
  20. I don't know. I think Luck really tailed off the last 3rd of the season. Of course voters may just hitch their wagon to the 9 game improvement in the win column, I just don't know. If you look deeper than basic stats, RG3 did not have the same impact as Wilson. He played against a group of terrible defenses in the NFC East 6 times. The skins also also played some of the leagues worst defenses out of the division in the Saints and Panthers. To top it off, they only had 3 wins against teams with a winning record. The Seahawks on the other hand play in a tougher division with the 49ers and a very competitive Rams team. They also had 5 wins against teams that won 10 or more games. I like RG3 but if you watched the Skins this year you saw how many of his big TDs were the result of blown coverages or great plays being made by his WRs. I can see it going either way but in a league where VY can win ROY with crap stats, anything can happen.
  21. I think it should be Wilson. he scored 30 total TDs, beat the Packers, 49ers, Patriots, and Bears, made clutch plays down the stretch in numerous big games, and finished with over a 100 passer rating.
