The DTV streaming option could only be used on one device at a time

Has San Diego regretted the Chargers relocating?
-
It could have been a net benefit, that’s for you to prove. I can’t say either way.
-
I hadn't paid much attention to this because honestly it seemed like it would happen. I'd guess that even if this deal had fallen apart I'm not sure that they'd immediately go to actually moving. You'd probably start to hear about them exploring their other options as they go back to the negotiating table. These things can take time.

Nashville is an appealing market, but Bud's point is that there are plenty of other markets that are just as or more appealing who would play ball with public funding. That's why pro franchises have cities over a barrel. It's hard to say no to these teams.
-
I tend to think it’s probably not worth it for cities to pay this much for a stadium or arena. You could definitely get better ROI elsewhere

	Get rekt

Seems like delaying increases the chances that the deal falls apart if it means that the costs increase. would they have to renegotiate anything or could the costs rise to a level someone else won't support?

I think this is @woolfolksunclesuncle's bag

Austin or San Antonio or San Diego don’t feel like big upgrades if you’re talking sports media markets. Doesn’t the NFL and AAS want a bigger one if they move?
-
AAS will have to buy the naming rights from a... professional paintball team https://pbleagues.com/team/MQDLoXVhnpRd73Xy

	Mexico City Titanes?
-
Haha oh definitely. Most people were not using fake student discounts or VPNs to bypass Sunday Ticket, and many of those who did will bite the bullet when given no choice. I'm curious though can you sign up for YouTubeTV ($75), buy the add-on ($100 discount) and cancel YouTubeTV after a month or are you locked in to using YouTubeTV for the duration of the add-on?
-
Cable or satellite are better for watching sports than internet streams because of the delay.
-
Delay is an important part of technical performance for live sports and the difference in delay is massive.
-
It isn't known how many concurrent streams you'll be allowed to have with it now, right? You'd definitely have some problems with outages, lag time, potentially shitty smart TV apps with the new system. You don't care about spending more money on an inferior product?
-
They simply didn't care about people who used a VPN to sign up as if they lived in Bolivia just like Netflix didn't care if you shared your account with 5 other people. I don't know if anyone claimed there's no way that they could know or that they couldn't cancel your account. It's just that they probably wouldn't because they hadn't in the past.

Titans Hire Chad Brinker from Packers as Asst GMTitans279 replied to tgo's topic in Titans and NFL Talk Is this where you pretend to love analytics now..?

“Democratic Govs. JB Pritzker of Illinois, Gavin Newsom of California and Phil Murphy of New Jersey have taken steps that could be seen as aimed at keeping the door cracked if Biden bows out — though with enough ambiguity to give them plausible deniability. Senators like Bernie Sanders and Amy Klobuchar have been making similar moves.”

Titans Hire Chad Brinker from Packers as Asst GMTitans279 replied to tgo's topic in Titans and NFL Talk Ran hiring a well regarded external dude he's never worked with is very different from how Vrabel operates

Titans Hire Chad Brinker from Packers as Asst GMTitans279 replied to tgo's topic in Titans and NFL Talk Titans hire someone with experience in the pass game challenge (impossible) Brinker and Carthon have not previously worked together, with Carthon coming over after six years with the 49ers. Brinker has only worked with the Packers, beginning his career as an intern with the team in 2009. However, both were college running backs in the early 2000s — Carthon at Florida, Brinker at Ohio. Both then became UDFAs, though Carthon’s NFL playing career lasted a tough longer than Brinker’s.

I know you're just doing this for attention, so good job. It's really funny that the idea is that the final straw was our reaction to you wanting Gardner Minshew to be our starter and saying that our problem is being too complacent and accepting of mediocrity so you no longer relate. Pretty good trolling tbh.

So I support the firing but I do think that the way it's happened isn't ideal. I've been talking about how JRob and Vrabel have failed to go from good to great for a while, so I'm no JRob stan. He built "the best team in the worst division in football." I do think the unorthodox nature of the firing and how it appears to be an emotional reaction to AJ Brown torching them makes her look bad. People are acting like this is not unusual now which I think is weird. Everyone was stunned that this happened. Don't act like this isn't abnormal. The super high expectations and appearance of erratic ownership will make this less attractive, but it's still 1/32 GM positions in the world. It's not like it's unattractive. However, I know at least a couple GM candidates were not willing to accept the position when JRob was hired due to the stipulation that they had to retain Mularkey. There are probably some people who will not want to accept a job here due to how it appears this played out unless it's revealed JRob did something that people generally view as a fireable offense.
