Best site for Dynasty type league

What is the best site for a dynasty type league? I am wanting to do like 2-3 keepers and trade draft picks and future draft picks for players. I am wanting a user friendly system that makes the trading and setting draft line-up easy and convienent. Opinions?

I do think Yahoo now has it where you can set a custom draft order as long as everyone ends with the same bnumber of picks. For people who have extra picks (if you allow trading players for picks), we basically cut their last round pick and add the person short a pick to the end of the draft... as if it was a FA pickup.

I've used cbssports.com for years but it cost $150 a year for the league. Cbssports also has the most flexible scoring system that I've seen out of the major sites. You also have the ability to add custom values to players such as contracts andor a salary cap value. Also, for the record I can't stand Yahoo.

I agree with oldschool. I've used that same website for 10+ years now. It's not perfect but it has enough customization for most of what you probably want to do. You would just need to spend a few hours learning how to navigate and tweak it the way you want it.

Spending a $150 dollars is the problem with that. I would like to keep the hosting free since it is going to be a money league anyway.

Just take the $150 out of the money pool. If your dues are $100 plus you won't even notice.

It's really all about the level of customization you want. If you are ok with using a preset canned league format, scoring system and rules, then Yahoo or another free one works. If you want a decent level of customization, the free sites don't offer it.

Also, your $150 with CBS includes live scoring for all owners, including a live scoring app. Does Yahoo still charge $10 a head for live scoring?

What specifically did you not like Jamal ?

Looking at yahoo, it does not look like I could set Manuel draft order the way I would like. Hard to tell though because it will not letme create a league right now.

Abenjami and old school do y'all have a recommendation outside of CBS

@NashvilleNinja how have you felt about the flea flicker league?

Hey @Dmeade-, I've been using Fleaflicker for the last few years but it's not the only site I play on. I've got teams on NFL.com, ESPN, and Yahoo. I used CBSSports one time a few years ago but I don't have fond memories of the experience. I'm sure it's changed since then so I may try them out next year.

As far as managing a league via Fleaflicker I enjoy it a lot. The features you mentioned wanting in the OP are there on Fleaflicker. Nines made a trade a few weeks ago, trading a player for a future draft pick. When initiating a trade it gives you the option of trading a player, a pick, or a combination of both.

The layout is very plain and is Java based. So it's actually easy on bandwidth if you're on an older computer/operating system. But like Jamal said, the aesthetic aspect of the site isn't that great. But I don't think that's what they're really going for. I think their mindset is that they want a fantasy site that's all about playing the game and not being distracted by the shiny and modern interface. Going purely on functionality it's got a lot of the bells and whistles you'd want.

As for the mobile app, they do have one for iPhone (don't know what phone you have). I don't know if you've ever seen this, @Jamalisms, but you can download it here: http://www.fleaflicker.com/nfl/iphone
