TitansGuru
Just finished listening. Pretty good but do you guys really want to try to do this right after the game? Don't want to wait even until Tuesday? We don't call it Monday morning freak out for nothing or are you either trying to battle the freakouts or maybe trying to air some freakouts? The idea would be to give fresh reactions before everything has a chance to become a rehash.
Jamalisms
I thought Guru and Jonboy were out of line trying to reel in Jamal's balanced critique of the running game. Did it suck when Frodo and company killed your family?
TitansGuru
This show would work really well with audience participation right after the game. Audience call ins, streaming, and live chat. I haven't brought this up to @Jamalisms and @Jonboy yet but I think it would be awesome for it.

Actually good to do something immediately because it's nice to get a quick take. It takes a lot of time to review the entire game and get an accurate take on every position group and all the plays. We won't even know the accurate coverage types and downfield plays until Wednesday when coaches tape is released.
Jamalisms
I'm hardly even interested in talking game recap by Thursday, and I suspect listener interest is about the same.
reo
Both are in there. The quality is bad on my iPhone, not sure if it will even be watchable on a comp. Looks like Roos misses Locker. Washington plants and leaps early. yeah, you can't see it very well. The corner bumps him on the 10 yd line. He doesn't jump until the 5. That shows you how early it was in the throw. It happened.. just not sure if it's PI, illegal contact or just incidental contact w/ no call.
OILERMAN
It's better right after the game I don't get the Frodo joke.
reo
The idea would be to give fresh reactions before everything has a chance to become a rehash. That brings the question of are initial reactions good reactions? I'm sure it makes for good TV/radio but I've always leaned more toward finding out what really happened than hearing ppl rant about what they think happened just to turn around and watch it again and be proven wrong. For years I'd spend half my time on this board on Mondays just trying to calm down the masses who were freaking out about what they thought happened but didn't actually happen so I'm not sure why you guys would want to record it. Now I just try to stay away from it on Mondays. Initial reactions to games in generally usually just annoy me. But whatever you guys wanna do. I'm sure I'm in the minority on this one. To me it comes down to whether or not you want to record emotion or record discussion on what actually happened. Personally I'd prefer rewatching the game and recording facts to enlighten ppl as to what actually happened. But emotion is drama and drama sells. This is just taking the game recap out of the normal show and putting it in a place and time where and when it is more relevant.

Then rewatch the game and do it on Tuesday imo but again, I'm probably in the minority here. Most will probably love the idea.
TitansGuru
By Tuesday it is starting to become old news. Anyways, check it out if we decide to do it like that and just catch the Weds/Thurs show if it isn't your thing. It should make for a shorter show which makes it better, too. Jamalisms
I rewatched the game a few times yesterday. Condensed version on NFL Rewind is useful... and if you have it open before MNF then it doesn't stop working.

Condensed version on NFL Rewind is useful... and if you have it open before MNF then it doesn't stop working. I finally caved in and bought Game Rewind and the All 22. I did the upgrade after getting the regular Season Premium. I wonder if I could have saved another bit of change had I picked the single team, then premium, and THEN plus. Thursday or so we should have Chalk Talk and on Friday the Football Prospectus will be released with recaps.
reo
Thursday or so we should have Chalk Talk and on Friday the Football Prospectus will be released with recaps. That'd be something at least. I appreciate good intellectual discussion over emotional ranting. Any show directly after a loss will be "Get your pitchforks ready!"
