OILERMAN
I was trying to give you an out. It was always going to be Ayers and McCarthy at LB in the base Nickel. And I was not taking the out, I'll call it like it was
OILERMAN
No, some will give Munch a chance. The field goal was the right call in that situation. I would think with you being a Fisher fan, you would appreciate playing the percentage. If you think that gave the Titans the best % more power to you
OILERMAN
BTW, I love getting the out from you when I was wrong but saying I was owned by the boards crazies!
Strait_Shooter
What's the percentage chance of winning the game down by 15 with 10 minutes left in the game? What percentage down by 18 with 10 to go in the 4th would there have been. Come on dude. It's a difference between three tds and two with a two point conversion. 10 mins was plenty of time IF the defense could hold But, as it's been pointed out, it is Brady. Catch 22 either way you go
VanCityTitan
I saw him rush a few times but it was from the LB spot. But honestly the Pats didn't play their nickel offense, they kept the two TEs on the field and their base offense almost the whole game, especially after they got up big. There was no real chance to use their nickel defense. I noticed Ayers blitzing the A and B gaps a few times. IMO he got the most consistent pressure through out the game. bizzyeddie
doesn't matter who your playing there...you need the fg so kick it. you simply got to stop the other team regardless
Strait_Shooter
If you think that gave the Titans the best % more power to you Again, considering how the offense was playing, yes. That is my belief
Guest
BTW, I love getting the out from you when I was wrong but saying I was owned by the boards crazies! Haha. You get your ass handed to you on occasion like all of us do. That was my point. I still side with you on most things for what it's worth.
OILERMAN
Actually that was the first time I've ever guess wrong I can remember
XAEA12
There is one reason to be seriously worried. The run game. It can not continue to underperform the way it did last year, the trajectory isn't looking too pretty.
abenjami
It might make sense to kick the FG there against a mediocre offense but you absolutely have to go for the 6 against an offense like the Pats because you aren't going to stop them from kicking at least one more FG and you aren't going to make them go 3 and out back to back series. Jamalisms
We brought in 6 DBs at times -- Ayers still never put his hand on the ground. At one point 7 maybe.
Faceless
At one point 7 maybe. According to Simms, yeah.
Jamalisms
I always watch with the radio feed and that was a comment they made. I haven't rewatched obviously so I have no idea.
