Different sites use different calculations

- Tankathon uses the correct full season SOS which is the actual tiebreaker.

- NFL.com and ESPN use season to date SOS which distorts what the draft order actually is.

So we win two games tops. I think that is logical, even though I find it hard to believe. If we change coaches mid season I excoct a "rally around the new coach" win or two but other than that, I don't see anything. I think it's weird any real Titans fan would expect anything else, of you are actually paying attention like I am.

Injuries and week 18 always play an enormous role in determining the final draft order

1 will be the first game with the new interim HC, the other will be at home against the Texans, then at home against the Saints and then probably Week 18 against the Jags, as they will have nothing to play for and will be delighted to ruin our draft position.

I have been a Titans fan since day one, an NFL fan since 1975,

 

Let me be really clear. We are the worst team in the NFL, except for the Bengals who unfortunately for them won two early season games. 

 

We have maybe at best two winnable games ahead. Maybe we upset a team or two, but we also are more likely to lose those "winnable" games. 

 

I do not understand why you do not see this? It's obvious.

2 would be my guess as well.  One is a divison (don’t ask me which one) game and I have no idea who the other win is : NO probably.

The sensible default position right now is the Titans are absolutely bad enough to be in the discussion of "earning" the #1 pick this year, but there also needs to be an acknowledgement they are 1 of probably 7-8 teams that are all in the same predicament right now.

There’s going to be some game where some team will overlook us or they are on their bad streak .  That’s one game .

 

Another one in the division games since those things can be generally close.

 

Do I think they go winless?  Nope.  But I don’t see them winning more than 2, especially if Callahan isn’t fired in season.

Well their “advantage” this year is they don’t need a qb.  So they could probably end at 3 and  get their top guy.

Sure it would be great to be in a position to get Rueben Bain who is the kind of ass kicking tone setter this team desperately needs but the greater need is the kind of draft capital boost that comes with a trade down and subsequent QB kings ransom.
