This reminds me - While reading the book, I played Ballroom Blitz on my phone during that scene in the book. It was pretty damn fun. I had looked and pretty sure that's correct, for that shop locationat least. Carl's Donuts had been in Vegas since the 60s, wholesale mainly. The Donut Hole was opened as retail in downtown lv by Carl's grandkids. Closed now regardless. Had great doughnuts by most accounts.
