Yeah, I started reading this thread yesterday and then I stopped because I could tell spoilers were about to happen LOL I watched the first 3 episodes last night and I'm hooked. They really recaptured some of the original magic with this new season. I liked New Blood ok, but I'd be lying if I said that I was satisfied with how they ended it. Seemed like just another weak ending. But Resurrection is right up there with some of the best seasons of the original run. And that's a rare thing for a show that had such a perceived sour finish to get another shot at an ending, nevermind getting another shot after that. Imagine if GOT had a reprieve like this. Can't wait for next season and hopefully they are able to keep the magic going and not give us another Lumen sidetrack. One thing I found interesting is that is seems Dexter has lost his patience. IITC for the most part, his kills were always well planned in advance and he was cautious as fuck crossing every T and dotting every I. I'm wondering if it was more just a sense of urgency based on the fact he was feeling a nervous energy because of trying to reconcile with Harrison while at the same time dealing with the fact Batista was on his ass. And this was after being found out by Chief Bishop and the culmination of everything that happened there. Before Harrison found him and the other things that happened in New Blood it had been years since he had last killed anyone. In fact, the last time he "pulled the plug" on anyone was literally when he took Deb off life support and dumped her in the ocean. By the end of the last episode it seems like he'd finally come full circle. Apparently for like $250 someone will sell you a DIY kit. But I think it only works on cameras at night that are using night vision technology and not regular cameras in the day.
