Ran Carthon is clearly very heavy on relationships as well - which is why the Titans targets will very likely be guys with direct connections to Carthon, Brinker, Outten, Kelly, and London. Or Vrabel himself of course. Esp with how the Titans have been burned in FA repeatedly under Robinson.

Translation: more former Houston Texans!  and now more former SF 49ers.

Don’t forget Packers and maybe a even a Bronco or two

After also making the "we spent a bit too much time at the blackjack table" comment yesterday I interpreted the earlier quote that under the new regime there is going to be much lower risk tolerance both in the draft and FA.

They've been burned by Vrabel guys as well, just to defend Robinson a little here.

I think this has always been obvious yet not really talked about, which is why it is good practice to find links to players because they do provide some clues as to potential free agency moves. Even if it's as simple as a player being brought in during a draft visit a few seasons prior.

My “potential Titans FA target” criteria based on everything so far is:

Connection to current regime

Durability history

Versatility

Need to meet all 3 to be “likely” targets
