As has become usual for the third-year quarterback, Herbert constantly delivered throws that only a handful of NFL signal callers can make. Whether it was a layered throw on the sideline, a dart down the field on the run, or the harpoon to Mike Williams in crunch time, Herbert was able to deliver when it mattered most and win the Chargers Sunday’s game. That's how the Chargers saw Herbert. How many games this season have we said similar about Tannehill? If you read the article(s), Chargers fans are complaining about their coaches and players, too. Literally two minutes before this happened Tannehill with way worse weapons and line drove the team 65 yards for a game tying TD...
Number9
And another thing. Clock Management. The Titans didn't use enough time scoring. They can't depend on the offense scoring, so they march down the field as fast as they can. But yesterday is would have been better to use more time scoring. The 2-pt try is a wash. But line up, give them a hard count to jump os. If you are LAC, you want them to leave as much time as possible on the clock.

Let's just say there's a huge difference in what the two QBs accomplished. I'm not going to do film study. It's 22$ @NFL+. You get to see all the games. You can replay plays, use coaches film. I sent @BudsOilers to look up a play last week. I said it wrong, he happily told everybody. My bad. BUT I told him to look at the first half ending. My error. He hasn't shown back up. First play I mentioned, he had the mistake up in 1-2 mins. Figures. Look, I was mad as hell at Tannehill after that last playoff game. But after a week or so, I got over it. I started defending him because the worse thing you can do is jump on one player and rag on him. Especially your QB. I tried to encourage others to see his strong suits. One of them is his accuracy. He throws a catchable ball on target. Some QB use damn near the entire WR range. Tannehill has to throw into tighter windows. Y..That's what we are saying. No, He Has To Put The Ball on Them, That's his skillset. That's his game. I'm not some Tannehill hater. I started smiling and got happy just thinking about him when he came into the game and the team exploded. We have been to the Playoffs 3(4) years in a row! He's not that guy anymore. I refuse to run down players, but this is a time issue. Wait until they tell Derrick they need his locker space. It was a great era. We have a slugger's chance left, if we can even get in the dance. #17 and #
IsntLifeFunny
Herbert has twice the weapons and a functional line, neither of which Tannehill has, yet both put up 17 potential points lol. You've been on one for a while man.
IsntLifeFunny
Oh and Tannehill was on a bum ankle coming in and then got carted off so there's also that.

You've been on one for a while man. I'm very disappointed with Herbert this season. He was my favorite of the young gun QBs coming into the season. IDK if it's an injury issue or something but he seems to have regressed a little.

Such a weird forum to be so up a players ass but make an effort to find every flaw in another. And one is clearly WAY above the other. Why do you people engage me? Who said they are the same player, and who's ass am I up? Or are you talking about yourself being up the ass of a player currently #24 in yards/attempt, while trying to dog the one player most responsible for the Titans somewhat relevance over the past 3 years? We engage you because it's easy. Debating you is like convincing a 3 year old a nickle is worth more than a dime because it's bigger.

He's been living in Henry's shadow much to your frustration. Just stop talking. Hey, you heard Henry made the pro bowl? Yay!

And yes, Tannehill is responsible for our relevance. I mean, do you think Henry took us to the #1 seed last year? How much did the Titans offense struggle to run the ball when Henry was out last year?

Our ability to manufacture a run game and play timely defense got us there. Moreso the defense. Tannehill's stats were HORRIBLE, and with the ball in his hands failed to carry us. Tannehill was once again overshadowed by coaching and defense.

His stats were horrible for reasons that you know, but intentionally leave out because they don't fit your narrative. Or because your aren't intelligent. Or probably both. Henry produces regardless. That's why he's recognized. If Tannehill could do a fraction of that, he would be too. He can't. Thanks for playing. By your metric, Eddie produced his last few years too. I don't consider games much fun when it's just a kid trying to work his way to the adult table of conversations. I'm done engaging with someone who wants to compare CJ's career and Eddie's final year to any of Derrick Henry's. The dumbest of dumb takes going on here. Let it go.
