Saints in trouble

That's the Rams issue to deal with then. The Rams aren't losing draft picks or getting fines or suspensions to their players. They'd be hiring a coach who broke rules. The Rams can very easily fire Williams today and it will be a non-issue for them. By keeping Williams on the staff the Rams are the ones asking for trouble.

If I was Fisher Williams would have been fired yesterday.

Fisher will look like a hypocrite if he doesn't fire GW

He is on the competition committee after all

Unfortunately for Fisher there's two things working against him. #1 Williams is Fisher's best friend in the business so he risks losing that. #2, and more importantly for Fisher's professional career, is that if he fires Williams there's no guarantee that Williams won't say that he learned all of this from Fisher (who I assume learned it all from Buddy Ryan).

Fisher is in a very tough spot. Looking back I'm sure he wishes he'd never hired Williams in the first place.

If JF hired GW in 09, we could very well be in the Saints position right now
