So if your league awards one point for every 10 rushing yards, you would lose one fantasy point for every 10 yards lost. If you wish to award negative points for a specific scoring category, simply enter a negative number as the point modifier for that category. In our league setting, that specific wording for that option is not there but what likely replaces it is the setting option "Negative Points" and our league setting for it is "yes." I suspect any fantasy system that awards points per yardage would produce negative points if total yardage were negative. I would be really surprised if a system did not do so. I have played fantasy football for about 30 years now and I have never knowingly been in a league that gives negative points like this. The only times I have seen a player receive negative points for a game is when they lost fumbles or threw INT's. I am the commissioner of 2 money leagues and I can tell you I have seen players end games with negative total yards and they are just given 0 fantasy points (not negative points). That being said, I am not really asking @Jamalisms to change the score, I am just rustling his feathers. If that is how yahoo has been scoring our league all along, so be it.
