Everyone needs time. I'm of the opinion you can't really judge a coach until 3 years. Vrabel is young and inexperienced, as is Lafleur, and they are trying to implement new systems and change the roster. He and Lafleur may in fact suck, but you have to give them time to work through the kinks and get the players in that fit.

JRob is the guy that better watch out. He handpicked his coach and the current roster is largely his doing. Right now, his handling of the #2 pick trade looks increasingly worse as time passes, and his big signings (and lack of others signings) have been pretty bad. His roster doesn't seem to fit what the coaches want to do.

We have to wait and see who else JRob brings in to fit the new schemes, and if the coaches learn and adapt. I also really want to see if JRob will be honest about his mistakes and get rid of bad contracts, or if he keeps forcing his bad signings on the coaches.

A game is a game. A game consists of studying your opponent, playing to your strengths, making adjustments and not running the ball when you need to fucking pass.

It's unfair to judge him right now because of the awful OL and receivers not being there. But yes, when the run game hasn't worked all year he should probably stop trying to run so much.

See .. this is partly why I absolutely believe vrabel is forcing his hand on the offense.

Lafleur said aid early in the year that vrabel made him share the carries with Henry more and pass less.  Now we get two games in a row where we force the run and are running more wildcat.  That screams vrabel to me.

I say say we spread it all out and just go from there. Pass to set up the run. We don’t do that. When we have done that we were successful at both.

I have presented this thought before, but i’m beginning to think LaFleur just can’t call a game.

I was critical of this when he was hired. I warned the board about this.

No one listens.

There are no plays that work when the OL can't pass pro or run block and the QB is inconsistent.

This is it 100%

Robinson owns everything with this team currently. He fired the last staff because they weren't "maximizing the talent" and they wanted to win more than one playoff game.

Now Robinson is going to have to start upgrading players that he brought in, mistakes.

On defense, the gameplan probably focused around containing  Hopkins and Coutee, figuring that Demyiarius Thomas probably wouldn’t have much of an impact and that they could handle Lamar Miller.   Turns out they thought wrong.

The Texans were spying Mariota almost every play ,didn't see us do it at all with Watson and he killed us every time he broke contain.

Dean Pees is obviously not 100%. Matt LaFleur is in over his head with some of these packages and choices.

I don't put all that on Vrabel. Jrob will step in (hopefully) and put his foot on the back of their necks. Upgrade the trenches and get some playmakers in the draft. Bring in a vet or two in FA. Gonna be alright (next year.)

Jesus I sound like a Vols fan...
